  • Great property, great location

"We are an Italian family of 4 and found the flat is extremely well kept and everything as in the pictures. It's a 1 minute walk from the beach (if windows are open you can hear the waves inside). The beach is sandy (perfect for kids) with a rocky part on its north side that is great for snorkelling. Aliiresort has been extremely kind and fast with any request. There is daily cleaning service... quick change of towels and clean up of bathroom, kitchen and making the beds. We used one of the communal swimming pools - the once facing the beach.... nice and kind personnel. The gym is minuscule (10sqm?). Quite pricey once you add all the taxes and fees.... 723USD/night... but everything is pricey in Hawaii... Mattress in the main bed is very soft... and quite uncomfortable... think is time to change it."

  • A very nice condo!

"My family of 6 recently returned from a week-long stay in this condo. Overall, this condo was quite lovely. It was in a quiet area (we never heard or saw anyone next door or upstairs) with ample parkng, and included modern finishings (not the 1980's Hawaiian printed couches like I saw in many other listings.) A couple of minor concerns: The condo had been cleaned, but not as well as I'd hoped, before our arrival. The mirrored closet in the 2nd bedroom appeared to not have been cleaned in some time, and we found toys under the pull-out couch and someone's nice camera under the master bed. (We left the camera with a note, when we left.) Additionally, I'd been asked whether the twin beds should be separate or pushed together as a king. While I'd asked for a king, they were set up as twins. Lastly, we searched everywhere for queen sheets and any spare pillowcases for my children to use, on the couch. We called the property manager, and she called back a few hours later with a message to look in the closet bins. There were no queen sheets or pillowcases in the bins or closets, so we made do with a king sheet and draped another sheet over the pillows so they'd have a cover. Lastly, the spare pillows in the closet could use a replacing, as many were a bit smelly. HAVING SAID ALL OF THAT...the condo includes all possible utensils and dishes that one could ever need, the wireless worked well, the a/c did a nice job of keeping the place cool, the appliances were newish and worked great. The condo had plenty of towels, has workng tv sets for those who wanted to watch them, and it was really cool to have bananas growing right outside of our patio door! The washing machine/dryer got a fair amount of use, and worked well. The condo is one of the furthest in the complex from the beach, but we loved that, as it was quiet. A 3-minute walk to the beach is worth having solitude when at "home." The grounds are gorgeous, and beautifully maintained, and we often had the upper pool to ourselves! One thing for the owner/property manager to consider is that if there are 6 people staying in the condo and need to leave for the airport in the morning, it is very challenging to have all towels and all sheets washed such that there are only 3 unfinished loads remaining, as per the rules. (I'm not sure of the solution to this problem, I'm sorry.) Despite the minor concerns in this review, our family would certainly return to this unit, and we had a lovely time!"

  • Amazing location, amazing property

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I stayed at Wailea Elua 2011 for 8 nights in May of 2016. We were blown away by the fact that the owner had truly thought of everything. From an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, to plenty of beach and swim equipment, to a plethora of linens, books, magazines, a well-maintained gas grill, and comfortable furnishings throughout. We were swept away into island paradise, and felt as if we had been on Maui for much longer than we actually had been. It's such a difference feeling like we lived there, vs. staying in a hotel. Also, the location is absolutely fantastic, less than a 5 minute walk downhill to Ulua beach and a short walk or drive to the shops, with ocean views from every angle. The grounds are extremely well maintained, with two pools, a private beach overlook, and a lovely patio to enjoy sunrise or sunset. A wonderful place to decompress."

  • This is a very comfortable condominium with an absolutely spectacular view.

"Elia village is an elegant and beautiful property with easy access to wailea's famous beaches. We also loved the pool, where we always could relax in the shade under an umbrella, on comfy lounges, feel the breeze and just read and relax!"
