  • Luxury at its finest

"Returning to Maui with my husband, we had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful villa. Having rented dozens of VRBO properties over the past 3 decades, I can honestly say this was our overall best experience from the booking process to departure. Dr. Blair is extremely responsive in answering any questions and Hope and her team at Paradise Comforts are readily available to assist you during the stay. Hope not only took care of pre-arrival grocery shopping for us but also left a kind note along with ground coffee and several unexpected delicious treats and checked in on us to see if there was anything we needed. Though not directly on the ocean, the elevated location of this villa offers phenomenal views of the ocean as well as a good portion of Wailea and views around the nearby coastal cities. Watching sectacular sunsets every evening and the Island light up was a special treat. We loved how quiet it was at night-rarely hearing a sound until the birds awake at dawn. The location is very convenient, within a couple miles of excellent restaurants, shopping, the beach. We enjoyed excellent meals at Ferraro's, Matteos, and The Restaurant. We rented a kayak in front of the Grand Wailea and had a massive sea turtle float under us. They are frequently spotted and there is also great snorkeling at Wailea Beach and to the right of the Grand Wailea beach. Water activities are best in the morning when the winds are usually calm. By noon the trade winds pick up and last about 4 hours. Despite rain and clouds being forecasted daily we had sunshine every day! Drive to Makena and purchase a coconut from a local-very refreshing and a fun experience. The villa is extremely well stocked. The kitchen is a chef's dream and includes most of the spices and other staples you could possible need. There are several coolers, very nice beach chairs (all beaches are public in Hawaii), numerous beach towels, beach bags, freezer packs...even sunscreen and bug spray (aside from a few flies onthe beach we didn't notice any bugs). My husband was thrilled to be able to watch our home state football game and the World Series on the large Screen TV. There are numerous games, books, movies, etc if you are traveling with children. I suggest bringing binoculars to check out the boats-and whales if they are in season. Dr. Blair and Hope, we look forward to returning to what is now our favorite VRBO rental and a truly first Class Experience!! Thank you both!"

  • Family Celebration exceeded expectations

"Super clean accommodation, fantastic kitchen with everything you need, great beds, slept very well. We had my children and their spouses and my wife and I celebrating my 60th birthday, and we stayed 9 nights. We could not have asked for more, great value, and Wailea area is our new favorite place on earth. We have traveled everywhere and stayed in very nice places, for the money this was one of the best values anywhere. Close to a ton of great restaurants, bars, shopping, and golf. I planned the whole trip and this place made me look like a hero. found a great little yoga studio, we are now big Wailea fans, and we would and will rent this unit again. We did rent a unit at Grand Wailea for a night to give us a couple of days at their pool and beach, we did so much other stuff this worked out well. The pool at Hoolei is nice, good workout room, and access to the beach was an easy walk. Porch is incredible. Owner/managers very pleasant and delivered on everything they promised. We are already planning to go back next year. Last tip, Make sure you go to the Monkey Pod, a really fun restaurant two minutes away by car, do not miss this place."

  • Idyllic Tropical Retreat

"We came as an extended family representing three generations and this spacious, elegant, and comfortable condo was a key to the enjoyment of our Hawaii vacation. Everyone had a place to retreat, and the common areas were comfortable for hanging out and dining in. The decor was lovely, it was immaculate and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked for any type of cooking and serving, and the fabulous double door refrigerator easily accommodated our very large grocery runs. All of the appliances and kitchen amenities were first class. The washer and dryer were high quality assets that were well used. The beach towels, beach chairs, even kids beach toys were all enjoyed. Both the owner and the local representative provided almost immediate answers to any of our queries. The pool was idyllic and we had it many times to ourselves, and if we were sharing the pool space, the layout provided various semi secluded spots that made pool time wonderful. It is a perfect pool for grandchildren as well as for adults. It is beautiful and well maintained as are all the lovely tropical grounds. The proximity of this unit, not only to the condo pool, but to the Grand Wailea Hotel conference rooms, restaurants and bars, is a definite plus. We all enjoyed walking down for the Grand Wailea luau. The beach was an easy walk even for the little ones, and the wonderful beach trail was a popular outing where we enjoyed daily whale sightings while we got our exercise. Shopping, grocery basics, adventure outings, and golf are all close enough to walk to. We would recommend this unit for families or groups of friends and we know that they can enjoy the special week that we will always remember."

  • Enjoying our stay

"We are really enjoying our time at Ho'olei Villas. This unit is beautiful, well appointed, close to pool, with peekaboo ocean views. Chrissy and her team are very easy to work with. This is our second time staying at the Ho'olei Villas at the same time of year. We love coming to week before Christmas, due to no crowds, beautiful decorations at the resorts, beautiful weather (not too hot). We have a 15 month old with us this time and the baby amenities at this condo, are perfect (stroller, highchair, pack n play) We have visited Maui over 20 times and The Ho'olei Villas is our favorite place."
