"I had a convention at the Grand Wailea Resort next door and did not want my family cooped up in hotel rooms all week. It was an easy walk to work each morning and we were able to use many of the hotel amenities such as the restaurants, shops, and bars. It was so nice to be able to walk "home" every day after work and relax with a glass of wine on the ocean view veranda. We were able to prepare several meals in the very well-appointed kitchen. Everything that the owners and management staff told us was spot on from the replenishing of soaps, shampoos, and coffee to the beach complete with chair, umbrella, and towel service. It was like staying in a luxury hotel with the comfort and space of home. I highly recommend the Aloha Kai Suite and the Wailea Beach Villas! We will definitely be back!"

  • Spectacular View!

"We have stayed at Wailea Ekolu for the past 6 years and this is one of the best 1 bedroom units on the property we have stayed in. Beautiful view from the lanai; easy walking distance to The Shops of Wailea and oceanfront. Condo is in a very quiet location and well appointed with everything one needs for their stay. Owner provided excellent communication from the time we booked the property in April to after check out. Manoli's, which is just down the street, was excellent for lunch - husband raved about the fish sandwich (Mahi mahi was the catch of the day) and my turkey club was excellent; make sure you add avocado to it. Since we have been coming to Maui for many years, we tend not to run around doing many activities but this time I checked off learning to paddle board from my bucket list - highly recommend private lessons from Paddle On! Maui which do their lessons off Polo Beach in front of the Fairmont Kea Lani which is close by. We also drove down south of La Perouse Bay where there is a beautiful hike on the lava fields along the coast - do this hike early in the day, pack lots of water and proper footwear is a must. Mahalo, Laurie & Glenn for sharing your beautiful island home and we look forward to staying there again one day!"

  • Wonderful condo

"We had a great time staying at 1701 this summer. Everything was perfect-- particularly the view and proximity to Ulua Beach. The condo is lovely and peaceful. We will return!"

  • Wailea love

"Condo was fine--could use some updating here and there. Smokers downstairs made using the lanai unappealing. Facilities at Ekahi are fabulous. Grounds and gardens are lovely, pools are great, paddleball court is nice and easy access to a good beach is perfect. The property is well-maintained by friendly staff. We highly recommend this location."
