  • A Little Piece of Heaven

"We absolutely loved our 11-day stay here! Thank you so much to the Dupuis family for sharing their home! This unit had everything we needed to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The grounds are so well kept and lovely and we were able to eat on the lanai every morning and enjoy the view of the ocean and sounds of the birds, and it took literally less than two minutes to walk down the path to the main pool or gate to the beach. (Unfortunately, we were not aware that the main pool would be closed for maintenance for 7 days until we arrived, but we did get to enjoy it the first few days of our stay.) We also had a small pool within walking distance from the unit and did take advantage of it most afternoons; it was just a little disappointing since it did not have the spectacular view like the main pool. The beach was so beautiful and we so enjoyed our morning walks and the sunsets every night! It was especially nice that beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and a cooler were provided for our use throughout our stay, so we never had to pay extra to rent any of those items. Every restaurant we tried served delicious food and several worth mentioning are Kihei Caffe, Fat Daddy's, Seascape Ma'alaea Restaurant, Bubba Gump's, and Lahaina Pizza Company. When we return someday to Maui, we hope to stay here again and will definitely recommend it to friends and family!"

  • Location, location, location...

"With our family of six this was truly the first vacation where I came home refreshed! The Peabody's place is a well appointed and very clean condo providing A/C, quality beds (like seriously... we now want a new bed at home), linens, well-stocked kitchen, efficient dishwasher & laundry, cooler for the beach, beach chairs etc. to make it easy to get right to relaxing and exploring. As residents of the Big Island for the past seventeen years we know what a visitor needs & this condo had it all! The morning view of Kaho'olawe & a cup of coffee before the family woke up was my time to treasure. The location of the condo is very convenient as we explored Lahaina, the road to Hana and Upcountry & Haleakala on separate days. The pools and covered areas were also very nice. As one of our sons was on crutches it was convenient to drive him to the oceanside pool and park. I highly recommend the location of the Wailea Ekahi for exploring Maui, as well as, the location of 28D in the complex! Mahalo!"

  • Great place and great location!

"This is our third time staying at Ekahi Village 6B and each time it feels like our perfect 'home away from home' in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. The location is perfect....close to a huge heated pool and close to the beach. You can snorkel and swim the turtles right out from the beach! The condo comes fully stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen and lots of gear for the beach. A great place!"

  • Excellent Location!

"This condo exceeded our expectations! The owner Gary was also very responsive and accommodating when we asked to extend our checkout time, and when we had a minor maintenance issue. Here are just a few things I would want to know prior to booking: The Mana Kai condo building has a pretty darn perfect location. It's in Kihei, which is on the southern side of Maui and is less crowded/touristy than the northern side of the island (Lahaina). The condo is a short 5-10 minute drive from downtown Kihei, which has several cute little restaurants, and you can also drive 5 minutes south and get to Wailea, which has more upscale dining and shopping. The view from the balcony (and really the entire condo) is spectacular - the beach is almost directly under the balcony and you see Molokini Crater in the distance! Other perks about the location are that the condo building has a great restaurant - 5 Palms - on the first floor, which has an excellent happy hour ($7 Mai Tai's!). The building also has a convenience store in it, which was super handy, and a grass covered beach area with chairs/showers provided. Really, it can't get much better than that! Oh wait, it's also 5 minutes from the boat dock, which comes in very handy if you are planning any water excursions. Some minor things to be aware of: one of the bedrooms is basically connected to the living room, and at night there is a retractable wall that you move into place to "create" the bedroom. The bedroom is therefore not super private, and it can also get pretty hot at night because the air conditioning does not circulate properly when then wall is closed. Another thing to be aware of is that the 5 Palms kitchen is directly below this unit (#203). Occasionally, we'd return to the condo and it would smell strongly like a restaurant kitchen. However, these issues were very minor and we would undoubtedly choose to stay here again!"
