  • Condo in Paradise - E komo mai

"This was our fifth time to Maui but our first time in Wailea. As usual I did much research but there's always a leap of faith when renting a condo. After a long day of travel and Avis managing to misplace my car, we finally arrived. From the first turn of the key this condo exceeded our expectations. The condo was clean and well appointed with interesting artwork on the walls. We especially liked the floorplan and it has three lanais (patios). The main lanai has a gas grill. The condo is in a quiet area of the overall property. We liked that the pool was very close and yet secluded. Parking was close and easily accessible. Lisa goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need and she includes recommendations on restaurants and other activities. There's a nicely stocked book shelve, including several guides on Maui hiking trails which we used for our day trips on the island. The property is ideally located in Wailea on beautiful Keawakapu Beach and is within walking distance of various restaurants and shopping. You will enjoy the absolutely stunning beach and can walk for miles in each direction. We snorkeled and boogie boarded as much as possible. The beach never really got crowded. You will not fully appreciate this until you take a drive north into Kihei and you will see the mass of humanity crowding the Kam I, II and III beaches! The pool facilities were clean and well maintained and the grounds crew does an excellent job. Make sure you find the lime tree and pick one to enjoy. Mahalo nui loa to you Lisa for your hospitality and such a beautiful condo!"

  • Perfect place for a family!

"Absolutely love this condo. It is a perfect place for a family to be able to spread out and still enjoy being together. The unit has all the amenities of home. After spending the days out in the sun it was a great place to come home to. We had our kids and grandkids with us so we cooked a lot of meals at home - kitchen @ bbq made it so easy that we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners on the deck each day!!! Having access to the Grand Wailei was one of the best features of this unit. We did enjoy the pool at the Ho'olei but going down to the hotel and using the water slides, pool and having pool side bar/food service was a highlight for our kids and grandkids!!! We received excellent response from the owner Ken and the concierge service at the Ho'olei was 5 star!!! We asked for high chairs, port-a-cribs and safety gates and they were all there upon our arrival. Golf tee times were also arranged for us. Shuttle service was also a nice feature when the kids were tired!! Can't say enough about this place. Can't go wrong renting Hoku!!! Looking forward to returning again!!"

  • Tropical and Peaceful Wailea Condo

"Thank you Steve and Tamara for providing a serene vacation home in Wailea. We just returned from an 8 day stay. and loved the ocean views looking out the front door and from the bedroom windows. Sunrise or sunset...we could see both! It was relaxing sitting on the patio looking out at the private jungle views and watching and hearing the colorful singing birds. Ladies...this unit includes a hair dryer, diffuser and curling iron plus has a separate bathtub from the shower. The bathroom is large and newly remodeled. The large closet with ice chests/ice cooler in the frig was fun for beach days along with the beach chairs and snorkel equipment out on the deck in the washer/dryer cabinet. Lots of closet space. Great starter kits for bathroom/kitchen supplies. It was so convenient having a designated parking spot too. Each day as we walked down the stairs, we were greeted by beautiful lime green geckos. We even saw a mongoose in the gardens. The landscape around the complex is beautiful with many tropical flowers. The BBQ's are quick and easy to use by the 2 pools. We walked to Andaz Maui and along the beach strand to the Grand Wailea resort. The condo is in a great serene location with easy access to any Wailea beaches and hotels and to the town of Kihei. The highway is up behind it and provides quick access to getting to other parts of Maui such as Haleakula and fun towns of Paia and Makawao. Hope to visit again soon!"
