  • Great Stay. Perfect location

"Location, location, location. I searched for places in Kaanapali, Kapalua and Wailea, but I'm glad we found this place in Kihei. It is so close to one of the top beaches on the island as per "Maui Revealed" book and app (and we explored 8 other beadhes and liked ours the best... it's called Keawakapu Beach) and the snorkeling directly out front of the condo was amazing. You can rent kayaks or stand up paddle boards from the condo complex right next door. It is a corner unit so the views are wonderful. You are 7 minutes from Wailea, 2 minutes from downtown Kihei with good restaurants and shopping, 30-35 mins from Lahaina and a tad longer to Kaanapali. It's a good location to explore the island. We did hiking to the Nakalele blowhole via the Acid war zone (as per the app), the Kapalua Coastal hike, La Perouse snorkel and hike, Wailea coastal walk, Paia and Hookipa Beach lookout. Pros: Kitchen is fully stocked. The property manager responded to a fix-it item very quickly. They have stocked in the unit fins, snorkels, boogie boards and 2 beach chairs!! The showers are great. But the best is the location near the beach. Opposite the beach on the condo property is a HUGE groomed grass area to play bocce ball, shuffle board, etc. that is part of the condo property. Good grilling areas as well. There are 3 flat screen TVs in this unit. When we were there brand new patio furniture was delivered for the condo's balcony. The sunset views are incredible. The owner was very responsive and professional and easy to work with. Out of all the units on this property I would pick 401 as the best in regards to size and views. Cons: There is no AC. This is not a deal-breaker as there are trade-winds that blow through as you open up the windows and large screen door and turn on all the ceiling fans, but if you absolutely must have AC then it might not be a fit. Also the mattress in the master needs to be upgraded. Sounds like I'm the "princess and the pea" but it had a bit of "hammocking" going on. A small issue. My wife and I still slept well as we fell asleep to the sound of the waves 50' away which was amazing. But a new mattress would be my suggestion. Overall we would definitely go back again. Great island, perfect location. The best part was each morning to sip cup of Hawaiian coffee on the balcony watching whales, kayakers, snorkelers, runners on a running trail, and boats. Evenings are of course beautiful sunsets right from your balcony. Mahalo!"

  • A great and affordable way to enjoy South Maui!

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Grand Champions #162 was our best ever Hawaii visit. The location close to all the great beaches and snorkel areas in South Maui was awesome. We spent much more time enjoying Maui and less time in the car than ever before. The condo was clean and welcoming. The cathedral ceiling made it feel very spacious. The somewhat distant view of the ocean was delightful as we enjoyed our meals on the lanai with the flowering plumeria tree at the edge of railing. I cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was supplied with all the essential tools. The king size bed was comfortable. The grounds were lovely and well-maintained. The fans worked well and when they weren't enough, the air-conditioners quickly cooled the condo. We didn't use the TVs and I was disappointed that the docking station didn't work for my iPhone. We did get a couple of notices on our car for parking after we had submitted the required documentation but the office staff was pleasant and working to resolve that glitch in their system. We enjoyed our first try with the stand up paddle board rentals although we spent a lot of time climbing out of the water and back onto our boards. We went on sensational trip with Maui Adventure Cruises out of Lahaina in a rigid hull raft and thoroughly enjoyed being on the ocean with the wind in our faces, spinner dolphins, and snorkeling at Lanai. Check out their 15% website discount. We would love to stay here again and will recommend this property to our friends and family when they visit Maui."

  • Great Location

"The Condo is large, not too far from the pavilion or beach, and not up the big hill! Unit is pretty well equipped with beach chairs etc. Unit is bright if you open all the blinds, quiet private lani with Gardens surrounding. The second bedroom has beds for 6, so lots of room if you have kids. I would stay here again if we needed a 2 bedroom again in the future."

  • This condo has everything you need including the great views.

"This top floor condo was great and even more than we hoped. Newly updated with all the conveniences of home. Our last 4 days we didn't have a car and didn't miss it at all as Uber was mostly available too. The location is perfect for snorkeling, beach time and with restaurants nearby you have the ability to relax. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!"
