  • Outstanding Stay in Maui

"My family of eight, wife, children and a grandchild stayed here for 8 nights. The entire process could not have been smoother. My interactions with the owner and his son were great. They were very helpful, and took the time to stop by once to offer some suggestions and make sure we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, and much larger than I anticipated. Although there were 7 adults, and one infant, we all had plenty of room. The residence itself is very nice with great A/C, a beautiful pool, nice sized and appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, a gorgeous kitchen. The location is very close to restaurants, world class beaches, shopping, etc. This is the first time we have rented a home, and I would absolutely stay here again."

  • Excellent Home away from Home

"We loved this unit so much we didn't want to leave to go home. The owners provided an extensive how to manual for the unit along with some great suggestions for the local area. The Maui Revealed guidebook in the unit was extremely helpful and in fact we found the best place to view the crater from Mt Haleakala at the Lei Lei Lookout due to the guidebook. The beach and pool are a short walk away. We used the pull out bed which was very comfortable. We love the property and would recommend this unit in particular."

  • Excellent beautiful and comfortable!

"Spent July 1 through the 8th at this beautiful property. When we arrived, we were greeted by Travis, who showed us around. The condo was perfect for my husband and I and our teenage daughters. The beach in front of the complex is a short walk and is absolutely beautiful. We were able to snorkel and saw turtles and fish. We never made it to the pool because the beach was so nice. The condo was clean and well stocked and the grounds were gorgeous. It was very quiet. The Shops at Wailea were within walking distance. The view was beautiful and we spent a lot of time on the lanai. My kids appreciated the great internet connection. We will definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend this property."

  • Excellent Condo!

"This condo exceeded our expectations! The owner Gary was also very responsive and accommodating when we asked to extend our checkout time, and when we had a minor maintenance issue. Here are just a few things I would want to know prior to booking: The Mana Kai condo building has a pretty darn perfect location. It's in Kihei, which is on the southern side of Maui and is less crowded/touristy than the northern side of the island (Lahaina). The condo is a short 5-10 minute drive from downtown Kihei, which has several cute little restaurants, and you can also drive 5 minutes south and get to Wailea, which has more upscale dining and shopping. The view from the balcony (and really the entire condo) is spectacular - the beach is almost directly under the balcony and you see Molokini Crater in the distance! Other perks about the location are that the condo building has a great restaurant - 5 Palms - on the first floor, which has an excellent happy hour ($7 Mai Tai's!). The building also has a convenience store in it, which was super handy, and a grass covered beach area with chairs/showers provided. Really, it can't get much better than that! Oh wait, it's also 5 minutes from the boat dock, which comes in very handy if you are planning any water excursions. One minor thing to be aware of: one of the bedrooms is basically connected to the living room, and at night there is a retractable wall that you move into place to "create" the bedroom. The bedroom is therefore not super private, and it can also get pretty hot at night because the air conditioning does not circulate properly when the wall is closed. However, this issues were very minor and we would undoubtedly choose to stay here again!"
