  • Property was well kept, clean and easy to maneuver .

"Unit 108 needs to have a couple of beach chairs to use while visiting the island and possibly a portable beach umbrella as well. There is a cooler and beach towels but thats all they have to offer. Other than that the unit met all our expectations."

  • We had a great time at this condo!

"It was perfect. A short walk to a public beach (that has parking if you need it). A short drive to great food. The unit is clean and nice. It was great to have a fully furnished kitchen for a few nights. You'll love it."

  • An excellent end to our Hawaiin adventure

"After a week on Kauia at two high-end resorts, and a quick stop at a small B&B in Hana, we settled into this Kamaole Sands unit for 5 nights. It turned out great--the apartment had everything one could want, Roy and Audrey offered a lot of great advice, and the complex is very well-maintained. We appreciated the nice pool and hot tub options, even though the beach was a short walk/drive (we drove just because we tended to take too much junk but we could have walked) Kamaole 3 beach wasn't quite as calm as many said but it was winter and huge swells were hitting the rest of maui, so the small waves weren't too much trouble. But for very small kids, the pool or nearby beaches may be better choices. We grilled stakes one night on the available Weber BBQs, and had tons of restaurant options in driving or walking distance. The new maur brewing company taphouse was a 10 minute drive and our favorite--they usually have food trucks, plus 30+ beers! lots of folks were regulars at the Sands--many from Canada--and i can see why they return. It's not a fancy resort but a very good value in a nice, casual part of Maui."

  • Very nice property with a fabulous view!

"This condo is very well maintained and attractive. The view from the 5th floor is beyond description. Menehune Shores is also a very nice and well maintained property that is situated in a great location for sightseeing, shopping, dining, etc., but far enough away from the "big city" to be relatively quiet and pleasant. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others."
