  • Secluded with Amazing Views

"My husband and I were only able to stay at Mack's Shack for one night! This house was perfect! We explored the Road to Hana, and arrived at the house at about 3:30pm. We decided to go further on the road to see the Pools of Oheo which is about 45 minutes further down the road. This is were the interior fresh waterfalls meet the Pacific Ocean - quite a site). We got back to the cabin at about 6:30, had dinner and relaxed! The cabin is very private and secluded. There is a stream which runs by the bedroom window, providing a pleasant gurgling all night. We also had rain showers all night! In the morning we had coffee on the wrap around porch, chatted and read before continuing the next leg of our journey. Totally enjoyed Mack's Shack."

  • Georgeous views in every direction.

"Very unique place. Great place to unwind and get away from it all. You will be greated with fresh fruit and amazing views. The outdoor kitchen reminded me of a Thai outdoor kitchen. Remember to clean up and clean again as you are in the jungle and ants are in no short supply. My husband got a bit antsy at doing nothing. But I thoroughly enjoyed reading in the lounge chair with nothing to do and nowhere to go. If u are accustomed to resort life this may not be the place for you. If you re looking for a unique one of a kind place. This is for you."

  • Off-The-Grid

"We stayed in Kihei our first couple of days on the island then switched over to Maui Chalet the last 4 days. It was incredible and a nice change from the city. Very secluded and the hosts - Steve and Jette were extremely accommodating. We had everything we needed and more. Cell phone use was very limited to certain areas of the house but that was also a good thing. More time to relax."

  • Wonderful retreat!

"Koali Ranch Cottage was exceptional! The studio is super cute! Big enough for me and my husband but small enough to be quaint. The lanai was wonderful and had a beautiful panoramic view of the farm and ocean. It was gorgeous! We were greeted by cows that were very quiet and surprisingly there was no smell! It's super quiet and peaceful. There is no ac so be prepared for it to be a little warm if the wind dies down. We went and bought a stand alone fan and that helped along with the ceiling fan. There is a tv but we never turned it on. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cottage. We were greeted with a fresh baked banana bread and a couple other fruits which was a very nice touch from the hosts. The kitchen was well stocked! We loved it and would stay again! Highly recommend."
