  • Weekend vacation

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Except for the front door key and lock that needs a bit of WD 40 the whole weekend stay was an excellent experience clean and kitchen and rest of the facility was hotel standard."

  • Comfortable and conveniently located home away from home

"My wife and I stayed at this location for 9 days in August. John was super easy to work with and very prompt in his response to any questions that we had. We found this location to be spectacular as it is a convenient drive to just about anywhere on the island (Kihei = 10-15 min, Wailea = 20-30 min, Airport = 15-20 minutes, Lahaina = 30-35 min). The condo was a very comfortable size for two people and the kitchen had everything that you need to cook on site (we only ate dinner out twice while we were there). The two gas grills on the property work well and are actually kept quite clean. There is an air conditioner; however, we found that the condo stayed at a comfortable temperature because of the breeze. The bed in the bedroom is comfortable, but we actually ended up sleeping on the pull out sofa in the living room for about half of our trip so that we could hear the ocean a little better at night. The view from the Lanai is outstanding and it is a wonderful place to eat breakfast and dinner. We could watch sea turtles from the Lanai on nearly a daily basis. There is only a small beach accessible from the property, but if you walk down the street a couple hundred yards there is a long span of beach that is VERY sparsely populated. We did end up going down to Makena beach (about a 30 minute drive) 4 days while we were there as this beach was less rocky (but more crowded). We were able to do all of our grocery shopping at a Target (if you are from the continental United States you will find meat and produce expensive, but their other groceries are reasonably priced and in smaller quantities than Costco). The condo is within walking distance to the Aquarium and Maalaea Harbor (there are several snorkeling charters that leave from this location). Overall, this is a convenient, and comfortable condo that acts as a wonderful staging area for all of your island adventures. We greatly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again."

  • Perfect little hideaway

"Martha's condo was a perfect choice for our vacation. Located on the beautiful, resort-free side of the island, it was quiet with a lovely view and a big yard for my 8-yr-old son to play in. A gate leads to a path to the beach. It's close to the road to Hana and just up the road from down-town Paia where you will find lovely shops and delicious food. The condo had everything we needed and more including beach chairs and snorkels. Martha's housekeeper was available if we had any questions and the condo caretaker was on site each morning. Definitely splurge on a meal at Mama's Fish House - it's a very special place. Thank you Martha for sharing your lovely home!"

  • Quite Hide Away in Paia

"This was my forth trip to Maui, with the first three being in Kihei. Nice change, nice quite street with property on dead end of street at the end of the street. Small beach just steps away were we saw green sea turtles, natural break, keeps waves calm and great for young kids. Great little deli / store within a 5 min walk which has great coffee, sandwiches, beer, wine and more. We walked to Paia and local beaches and Mamas Fish House which was also nice. Paula and Cliff took good care of us."
