  • Excellent location for beach, golf, shopping and restaurants

"We were very satisfied with the location, size and ground floor lanai where we spent a lot of time. The unit is just across the street from an excellent beach and walking distance to many Kihei shops and restaurants. There was a water pipe leaking issue which was solved quickly by a conscientious onsite manager. The only comment we would add would be to upgrade some of the pots and pans as we cook a lot. We are active users of VRBO and would recommend this without hesitation."

  • Great place and location

"We loved this place. It worked well for our family with a 3 year old. We could walk to the beach. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet at night. It was also nice to walk across the lawn to the laundry room. We did have one hassle because the door code quit working but Kandy responded promptly and it was in no way anyone's fault. Just one of those things. The lawn was great for the 3 year old."

  • Awesome Kihei Condo!

"My husband, myself, and adult daughter stayed in David's condo from Dec 25,2016 to Jan 4, 2017. We chose this condo because we had previously stayed at this complex and knew its location is wonderfully located just minutes from Kamaole Beach 1 in Kihei. Our daughter has a disability, and it was her first time to Maui. The complex does have many flights of stairs to access the units, but this unit was located close to the elevator so our daughter was able to manage well. We had family stay in Kihei at the same time in different complexes and out of the three condos, this one was definitely the nicest. The decor was well thought out and made us feel like we were in our home away from home. The unit had everything we needed and more. It is evident that the owners care about its condition and strive to make their guests' stay satisfying. The bed and pull out were comfortable, the lanai a serene escape, the kitchen stocked with every utensil or cook ware necessary. Lots of space for storage, cleaning supplies available as well as beach chairs, umbrella and towels for the beach. We were very pleased with our choice, as we searched many condos in the area. This is definitely somewhere we would return! The only down to this condo complex is the parking. There is a small lot at the bottom which is close to the elevator, but it fills up quickly. The larger lot is at the top of the hill, and it can be a long walk to the buildings at the bottom of the hill if someone is physically challenged. We often dropped our daughter off at the elevator before going uphill to park. This is of no fault to the property owner however, just the layout of the property. Thanks David so much for sharing your space with us and making our Maui vacation memorable. Our daughter has summed it up in one word: Awesome!"

  • Wonderful stay, awesome vacation!

"We had a wonderful time at Maui Winds! My husband and I went with another couple and the upstairs of Maui Winds was perfect for the four of us. The furnishings were nice and amenities were great including a big kitchen and a clean grill. The rooftop deck was our favorite place to drink coffee each morning and sip on wine for the sunsets. The location was perfect too. Within stepping distance to the beach and Mama's Fish House. And just down the block was a general store great for forgotten sundries and yummy breakfast burritos when we were too lazy to cook. Although you could walk into the main town of Paia, we usually took the 3 minute drive into the fun, bohemian/surfer town full of cute shops, a nice pub, and good restaurants (we especially enjoyed Flatbreads pizza and Paia Fish Market). When you book Maui Winds through Trinity Property you also get a free concierge service which I highly recommend using. They helped us book multiple activities like a catamaran snorkeling trip and whale watching on a kayak tour (most amazing experience ever!) while providing multiple priced options to fit any budget. The concierge also booked dinner restaurants at the places I knew we wanted to try (best meal by far was definitely at The Mill House and other greats were Mama's Fish House and Migrant). Finally, they provided great suggestions for hikes and stops along our self-guided drive on the Road to Hana (our favorite recommendation was to hike the Pipiwai trail through a bamboo forest). Greg and Magen (property managers) were very hospital and super to work with. We had a pregnant women with us and she wanted to ship a maternity pillow to the house for our stay. They were super accommodating and had the pillow waiting for us at check in. Overall it was a fantastic experience with nothing but rave reviews. We can't wait to go back!"
