  • Awesome ocean front unit

"We stayed 6 days and enjoyed this place very much. The unit is modern and very comfortable. The large, perfectly groomed grass was great for lawn bowling. The heated pool was great when the weather was not. Beach access is perfect."

  • Always enjoy Ekahi Village. This unit was great!

"We were here for almost two weeks and as always, enjoyed our stay. The grounds at Ekahi Village are always beautiful and well maintained. This unit was spacious and a quick walk to the beach. All the necessities are here for relaxing on the beach, or enjoying the ocean. Great place to bring the family!"

  • Beautiful Resort and Condo

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Kamaole Sands Resort. The condo was very clean and modern with a really pretty tropical design. It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Everything went as promised. The grounds/property was very beautiful and well-maintained. It is very conveniently located and was only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again. It was the perfect home away from home. The only critique I would have is that the condo could use some new beach chairs and a new beach umbrella. The beach chairs had seen better days as the straps were ripped with use and time in the sun. The same goes for the umbrella. I would also recommend to the owners that they get new ice cube trays (very minor but a necessity). Everything else was wonderful--quiet and peaceful. We would recommend dining at Monkypod Kitchen in Wailea--great drinks and food. We also enjoyed breakfast a couple of times at the Kihei Café. The fish tacos at Coconut's Fish Café lived up to their reputation. We also spent quite a bit of time in Lahaina. The drive to Lahaina was about 45 minutes. There we went to the Maui Ocean Center and took a submarine ride with Atlantis (which we would highly recommend). Another great dining experience was at Lahaina Grill. The food and drinks were fabulous. There just wasn't enough time to try all that was recommended or do all the things we would have liked, and take the time to enjoy the resort. One other thing, if you don't need or want a fancy car, we would recommend renting a car from Kihei Rent-a-Car. They mostly rent Nissan Sentras. They are inexpensive and have great customer service. They will pick you up at the airport and bring you to their site. It worked very well for us. I would say if you like to be in the thick of it, where all the activity takes place, stay closer to Lahaina. If you prefer a quieter, more peaceful environment, Kihei is perfect. Overall, it was a dream vacation. We will be back!"

  • A return to Haleakala Princess is definitely in our future

"What can I say about Haleakala Princess without gushing?! This was truly the most wonderful place I have ever stayed and would (and have) recommend it to everyone. We are a blended family and took the three girls (aged 13-22) and one boy (25) on our first family vacation together and this couldn't have been better. The view down the side of the mountain was truly spectacular and the sight of the two rainbows crossing into each other one morning will never be forgotten. We live on an island but I am originally from Wales, and the perfect blend of island and mountain views in one place is stunning and heart warming. The property....wow! Fantastic modern décor inside the house with giant windows and sliding glass doors made particularly to enjoy the incredible view. We loved that the master bedroom was on the other side of the house on its own, which gave us a modicum of privacy from the kids...when they weren't using the favourited shower in the master bath...and the beds...well I cant speak for the kids' beds but the master bed; I had been suffering with an injured back for several months before our vacation and had been having trouble sleeping without pain. The master bed certainly assisted in the recovery of this pain....ahhhh such good nights' sleeps. The kids very much loved sitting out at the fire pit or in the hot tub in the evenings and they most definitely bonded a little more chatting out there each night. The owner has created a gated, peaceful oasis with such wonderful, enviable landscaping (definitely gave us some ideas on landscaping for our own property here in Cayman), we even found a very friendly chameleon, whom we christened Jorge :) The location was ideal for us also; high up in the mountains so we had cool morning air and a great jumping off spot for our sightseeing; the road to Hana....the whole way around!, the Lahaina Luau, surfing in Kihei and of course Haleakala Crater.... where we (surprise to me!! :)) became engaged. Cathy and Melody are an absolute joy to work with and could answer all of our questions and relieve any worries we had in trying to make this a great holiday for the kids to remember as their first all together, making suggestions along the way as well. They are a one-stop-shop making it all such an easy process; car rental, tour ideas and we can't leave out Mallory who even did some grocery shopping for us so that after a 12 hour journey we only needed to settle in and relax. Thank you so much ladies!!"
