  • Great Relaxing location!

"The owners have the Aloha spirit. Always very pleasant. The communication was always there to make sure we were good with everything. From the moment of arrival we felt at home with a vase of gorgeous freshly cut exotic flowers and several fruits from the garden. Everything was clean. The house is located perfectly to explore the Hana Hwy. both ways, grab a meal nearby, and go to the beach. After sightseeing all day, it was nice to go to the beach at the Waianapanapa St. Park, Near the house or to stroll along the yard, which is full of fruit trees and beautiful flowers. We enjoyed many fruits during our week there. The house itself has all the comforts such as a well equipped kitchen, comfortable queen bed, two large screen TVs, Internet, and a cell phone booster. The latter is quite a treat since cell connection is not available through many sections in Hana. The house has no air conditioning and if you are there in the afternoon it does get a bit hot but as soon as the sun goes down, the house cools down and actually get very cool at night. The porch always stays breezy and cool. It's a wonderful place to just enjoy the beautiful garden and watch the birds. In case of rain, there's a carport that connects with the porch to load and unload the car. There are many details about the house, which made it a very comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again."

  • Nice clean place to stay

"We wanted to spend the night in Hana so we didn't want to make the full Hana trip in one day. This rental is just before you arrive at Hana on the main road, easy to find. This unit is a detached building behind the owners house, I believe there are three "apartments", we stayed in the furthest. Nice but small kitchen, nice bedroom with a large bath. The unit was very clean. If you plan a Hana trip, consider staying here for the night, it's about half way, restaurants near by. Get up the next day and check out the Hana beaches, and make sure you see Waianapanapa-state-park. I would recommend this rental."

  • Off-The-Grid

"We stayed in Kihei our first couple of days on the island then switched over to Maui Chalet the last 4 days. It was incredible and a nice change from the city. Very secluded and the hosts - Steve and Jette were extremely accommodating. We had everything we needed and more. Cell phone use was very limited to certain areas of the house but that was also a good thing. More time to relax."
