  • Great location, well appointed, comfortable, home

"I stayed her with my husband, 4-year-old son, brother and sister-in-law and their 8-year-old son. We chose this home for its location, price, and bedroom arrangement. The place was perfect for us! We felt we got exactly what we expected and wanted. Paia is a cute town with lots of restaurants, coffee available as early as 530am, grocery store, ice cream and shave ice, and gift shops. Local beaches are great - our favourite here was the one nearest the youth centre. With a car available, if it was cloudy/windy/rainy on the north shore, the south shore beaches were a quick drive away and usually promised warmer sunny skies. Lots to do and see. A great playground for the kids ~10 drive away. Our favorite restaurant was the Hali'imaile General Store. The house itself was well accessorized, clean, modern, convenient... perfect. Small kitchen but well stocked with cooking needs and dishwasher. Clean BBQ. Laundry. Towels, beach towels, bed linens supplied. Two bathrooms with showers. Two of the three bedrooms have local AC units - so a third in the last bedroom would be beneficial for the hotter nights. Beds comfy! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for this type of place ie not a "luxury hotel" but a comfortable place to call home for your holiday!"

  • Great stay!

"Perfect little cottage for a small family. My husband and I were traveling with our 13 month old son and it was exactly what we were looking for. Fenced in, private yard with nice green grass for little ones to play in. They even provided a pack n play for our son to sleep in. The house was cleaned and provided everything we needed for our stay. Close convenient walk into town. Would stay again and recommended to anyone."

  • Christmas in Paradise

"My family of 4 - two teenagers, 2 parents - had a wonderful stay at this condo over Christmas. It was perfect for our family and felt very homey. We appreciated having binoculars on hand to watch the whales, and a bookshelf with a variety of options. Barbara provided some delicious welcome treats - very thoughtful! The second bedroom has 2 separate beds, which worked well for our son and daughter. When we stayed, there was a boogie board, pool noodle, beach chairs, coolers, ice packs, plenty of pillows, towels, and linens. This quiet condo is easy to get to in Maalaea Harbour, between Kihei and Lahaina, and it's a short drive to reach either town. It's about 2 blocks from the Maui Ocean Centre. There's also a great little general store around the corner that has a bit of everything - from ready made food, to a few staples - and terrific service. We love Maui, and are sure to be back. Barbara made the booking process very easy, and was helpful in answering my questions pre-arrival. We are so pleased we were able to stay at this property, thanks for a wonderful holiday!"

  • Garden Oasis and fabulous studio

"Our stay at Mangolani was perfect! We stayed in a first floor studio just remodeled and professionly decorated with a modern yet homey feel. The house is situated on beautiful grounds with a hot-tub to soak in every night. The kitchen was stocked beyond belief, better than ours at home and we love to cook! Laundry, extra linens, anything you might need for your beach outing is all on site. We love the location, a quick walk to Mana Foods for gluten, vegan, healthy foods is .6miles away. We enjoyed coffee in the morning listening to the wind chimes or took it to go to the nearby beach. We love the locals in Paiu and getting away from the tourist noise and movement of Kehei and Kannapali. The owner, Dave is always on site, responds to any concerns instantly as was a great host. We are booking again soon for next January!!"
