  • Great location, beautifully well maintained with friendly owners.

"Had a great stay here. Dave is a great host and the property is well maintained and appears to be getting updates regularly. Short and easy walk to shops, restaurants and beach in Pai'a. Great location to head to Hana or Upcountry. Island Fresh Cafe is a great breakfast stop and is just a very short walk up the block. My wife would absolutely stay here again next time we visit Maui."

  • Quite Hide Away in Paia

"This was my forth trip to Maui, with the first three being in Kihei. Nice change, nice quite street with property on dead end of street at the end of the street. Small beach just steps away were we saw green sea turtles, natural break, keeps waves calm and great for young kids. Great little deli / store within a 5 min walk which has great coffee, sandwiches, beer, wine and more. We walked to Paia and local beaches and Mamas Fish House which was also nice. Paula and Cliff took good care of us."

  • Cozy private cottage

"Valerie & Craig were perfect hosts for our recent October stay. Their cottage was as advertised. It was clean, cozy and a great location for those that want to avoid the big resorts but still want convenient access to great food, shopping, ocean views and beach access. Also, it is only a few miles from the start of the Road to Hana, which we found a big plus because after finishing the scenic but somewhat challenging drive we didn't have to drive another 30 or 60 minutes to a resort on the other side of Maui. We were anxious to snorkel with sea turtles during our trip to Maui. The public beach is less than a 5 minute walk from the cottage. The beach had several resident green sea turtles just hanging out. The cottage is surrounded with banana, avocado and orange trees. We highly recommend this alternative to a big resort or hotel."

  • A very pleasant and local feeling stay

"The unit is located in easy walking distance to the busy and lively small town of Pai'a, where you can find some of best eating places and grocery markets for organic and cooked foods, should you choose not to eat at the restaurants. Upon arrival we were delivered fresh bananas, muffins and a very sweet Maui Gold pineapple. The owner and host, Avis, was most helpful to all of our questions ranging from how to set up the television channels to where the locals shopped for the best mochi!"
