  • Cozy private cottage

"Valerie & Craig were perfect hosts for our recent October stay. Their cottage was as advertised. It was clean, cozy and a great location for those that want to avoid the big resorts but still want convenient access to great food, shopping, ocean views and beach access. Also, it is only a few miles from the start of the Road to Hana, which we found a big plus because after finishing the scenic but somewhat challenging drive we didn't have to drive another 30 or 60 minutes to a resort on the other side of Maui. We were anxious to snorkel with sea turtles during our trip to Maui. The public beach is less than a 5 minute walk from the cottage. The beach had several resident green sea turtles just hanging out. The cottage is surrounded with banana, avocado and orange trees. We highly recommend this alternative to a big resort or hotel."

  • A very pleasant and local feeling stay

"The unit is located in easy walking distance to the busy and lively small town of Pai'a, where you can find some of best eating places and grocery markets for organic and cooked foods, should you choose not to eat at the restaurants. Upon arrival we were delivered fresh bananas, muffins and a very sweet Maui Gold pineapple. The owner and host, Avis, was most helpful to all of our questions ranging from how to set up the television channels to where the locals shopped for the best mochi!"

  • Dream come true

"Almost a year ago we started with the planing of our great family holidays. Now, unfortunately they are over. What should we say ? Thanks Ray, Thanks Vivienne. It was perfect. Like a dream. Our expectations were high but they were far exceeded. Beautiful house, very helpful hosts. We feel really at home. In this tree weeks, we had our best days in the water since many years. Windsurfing, standup paddling and kite in front of the house. Unforgettable early morning walks with sunrise and turtles .That was just cool. We had a lot of fun and it was not easy to leave this place. As we said. See you in 2018 - pulled pork again ? Big Aloha from Switzerland. Carmen, Manon, David & Beat"

  • home away from home

"we have rented this unit 114 for 15 years (every year ) for up to 11 weeks and were very pleased with the condo. We found it to be very comfortable and cozy ,our home away from home !! There are plenty of bed linens , towels and kitchen linens. I love to cook and bake and had an abundance of kitchen utensils, pans and pots. There is a well stocked kitchen with plates ,glasses cups etc. we have had much company visit and really appreciate the clean spacious area both indoors and out , the lanai is fantastic and sheltered from the rain, we have sat out side many times during a rain shower while others are huddled indoors. We have truly considered ourselves very fortunate to have access to the condo where one can stand on the lanai and watch the wind surfers and the whales breaching. Can't wait to visit again and have already booked for the next years vacation....Thanks for the use of the condo."
