  • Great stay!

"Perfect little cottage for a small family. My husband and I were traveling with our 13 month old son and it was exactly what we were looking for. Fenced in, private yard with nice green grass for little ones to play in. They even provided a pack n play for our son to sleep in. The house was cleaned and provided everything we needed for our stay. Close convenient walk into town. Would stay again and recommended to anyone."

  • The perfect family-oriented home-base for adventures all over the island!

"My husband and I traveled to Maui with my mother and an uncle for our anniversary/Christmas celebration. We were NOT disappointed in our decision to stay in Paia as a central home-base for excursions the island over. The open floor-plan of this home gives it a spacious feel. It's thoughtfully appointed, clean and nicely maintained, with MORE than ample seating for a party of 6 in the living room, and in each of the dining areas. We personally would have enjoyed having a DVD player in the living room, where a family typically gathers (instead of in the master suite)... but that's just a personal preference. The house is located on a dead-end street in a residential neighborhood, where young children congregate in the street to giggle and play by day; and where sundown brings the kind of quiet solitude that you will seldom find at a big hotel or resort. We are bird watchers, so thoroughly enjoyed our mornings sipping coffee on the porch while watching the activity at the neighbors feeder, and in the cane fields as the egrets followed the mower around looking for snacks. At night we were serenaded by the songs of geckos, bugs and even frogs, after all of the neighborhood children were tucked snug in their beds for the night. The walk to the beach is an easy downhill journey past shops that hold all of the treasures and essential provisions that you may need for your stay. The walk back home may be all up hill... but you'll NEED it after eating your way through all of the good restaurants in town! Thankfully we never needed anything from Monica while we were in residence... but that's largely due to her great communication and attention to detail. Thanks Monica!"

  • Loved it!

"The cottage was perfect for us! Bed was very comfortable, every thing we needed was there. Well set up for cooking. And when I ran out of sunscreen just before whale watching there was a cupboard of odds and ends that had sunscreen and saved my skin! Loved that we could walk to stores, restaurants, and beaches. And Jacque was lovely to work with and very accommodating with our arrival and departure times. I would happily to return to this cottage!"

  • Location location location!

"We had a fabulous time in Pa'ia. As promised, we saw amazing turtles every day. Like others have mentioned, the house is a little quirky but we loved our stay."
