  • Lovely, cozy, clean - our Hawaiian favorite

"Dear Christie, We very much enjoyed staying at your cute little place! It is nicely decorated with a personal touch, well equiped with everything you need. As said in a previous review, the photos don't do justice to this beautiful place! We loved our breakfast on the lanai with a peak of the ocean. You can enjoy great Maui-sunsets on the beach right in front. We did explore the whole Island and were always happy to return to our little home away from home in the evening. Location is great to explore south, west and north/east of the island. Of all of our places in Hawaii, this was our favorite! We absolutely recommend and would always return! Mahalo for being our host Christie, Kind regards from cold Germany, Melanie"

  • Great location! Wonderful home with lots of character and charm!

"I would come back here and stay anytime! The location is ideal for driving the Road to Hana or going up Haleakala. The house is beautiful with large rooms, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. One of my favorite parts, aside from the lovely Lindsey who oversees the house, is the outside showers. Coming back from after a day at the beach or a long drive along the Road to Hana and then bathing outside in the privacy of the outdoor showers was wonderful! Be sure to check out the fence made of surfboards just down the road from the Inn. Be sure to sit and chat with Lindsey over a cup of coffee. Be sure to stay here is you want to get a feel for the real Hawaii."

  • amazing little hideaway!

"We had an amazing time here. The location is prime for Paia lovers. The space is nicely appointed with an eye for detail and has everything one needs. Space is ample and the lanai is beautiful and private. A full kitchen would allow for making your own feast, but you can also just walk down the street to Hana Ranch Provisions for a farm to table meal. The owner was most helpful and is the type of spirit that makes the island. We are so thankful!"

  • Great location, well appointed, and clean

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mangolani Inn in our studio apartment. The location was perfect, just walking distance from downtown. The apartment was clean and I mean clean. This is not like other vacation homes where you feel like you are literally walking into someone's home after they left for work for the day. It is clean like a hotel. We really appreciated that. We also appreciated the attention to the environment with energy efficient appliances and the use of natural soaps like Mrs. Myers Clean Day. The kitchenette has everything you need to cook a full meal. Including sharp Wustof knives and Vitamix blender. But, we didn't feel like we needed to cook because there is a great natural foods market down the street called Mana that has a salad bar and a hot foods bar. Plus, there are great restaurants in Paia town. Dave and Nyla (the owners) and their little boy are very nice and easy going. We loved interacting with their dog and new puppies. Scott (the property manager) was friendly and helpful and gave us some great tips for places to explore in Maui. We would stay here again and definitely recommend it."
