  • This location is the best on the North Shore. If you like water activities and the feel of old Hawai

"The home is well loved and the rate you pay is certainly worth every penny given the location. Cant say enough about our holiday here. I brought my adult children and their spouses and we all agreed it was the best holiday of our lives. The Banyan tree next to the house is truly a religious experience. We surfed every day off of the front yard and walked the beaches to our hearts content. Paia and all of its amenities was a 1 minute stroll down the lane but the hustle and bustle was to our backs as we enjoyed the waterfront. We could have been in Hana for that matter. Thanks so much Annie and Nayleen. Mahalo"

  • So well set up for a relaxing beach stay.

"Enjoyed evening visit to the turtle rest beach at Ho'okipa . Dinner at Mama's Fish House was an added bonus. Also saw whales and turtles from the beach nearby. The owners have furnished and supplied the apartment with a comfortable beach theme ."

  • Perfect getaway spot!

"We found the Menehune Cottage on VRBO when looking for a small place for a long weekend in Maui. Anne who is the property manager was great to work with and kept up communication until we landed. Margaret and her husband, who own the property, were around and great to chat with about the history of the house and cottage. The spot was perfect and we couldn't have been happier. The cottage was clean and comfy and even though there wasn't any A/C we were never there during the day and found the house cooled off nicely at night for sleeping. We headed towards Hana easily one day and over to Makena Beach for snorkeling the next. Pa'ia is a great little town with good eats and cute beachy shopping. The general store on the corner by the house had the BEST smoothies and breakfast items. Best of all Mama's and the beach were a very short walk from the cottage. We were already talking about our next stay before we even got to the airport. Thanks for a great weekend stay and we will definitely be back!!"

  • Great place and location

"We loved this place. It worked well for our family with a 3 year old. We could walk to the beach. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet at night. It was also nice to walk across the lawn to the laundry room. We did have one hassle because the door code quit working but Kandy responded promptly and it was in no way anyone's fault. Just one of those things. The lawn was great for the 3 year old."
