  • Perfect little bungalow - Amazing location!

"This property is SO amazing and the pictures don't do it justice! When we first arrived, we were blown away by how amazing the front lawn area is. It's right on the waters edge! The views are stunning and it's so comfortable and relaxing on those lounge chairs. Also a perfect spot to enjoy dinner or a cocktail and watch the sunset over West Maui! The house itself was perfect and had everything you needed. Comfortable bed, nice sheets, great pillows and fans and AC's in both the bedroom and the living area. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook a great meal, and they even filled the fruit bowl with some of the delicious fruit that they have growing around their property. The outdoor patio is perfect for eating and just relaxing, while taking in the amazing views, and it's also covered which is great if you want to hang outside while its raining! Other reviews have mentioned the noise of cars driving by (property is located right on a busy main road), but we didn't notice the noise even once. It's not loud enough to ever be a bother (my husband worked during the day and took a lot of phone calls inside and outside - never made a single comment about the noise from the traffic!), but if it does happen bother you, they kindly provide white noise machines. The location is central, away from the hustle and bustle of the south side (yet very easy to get to), and at the start of the drive to Hana. Paia has quite a few good restaurants, and Mana Foods (a small natural health foods store) has everything you need to make a delicious meal, stock up on beach snacks, or find amazing locally made food items. You're also very close to the airport! Valerie and Craig are so friendly, super accommodating and very understanding. The really make you feel comfortable and at home. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!"

  • Quite Hide Away in Paia

"This was my forth trip to Maui, with the first three being in Kihei. Nice change, nice quite street with property on dead end of street at the end of the street. Small beach just steps away were we saw green sea turtles, natural break, keeps waves calm and great for young kids. Great little deli / store within a 5 min walk which has great coffee, sandwiches, beer, wine and more. We walked to Paia and local beaches and Mamas Fish House which was also nice. Paula and Cliff took good care of us."

  • Great location! Wonderful home with lots of character and charm!

"I would come back here and stay anytime! The location is ideal for driving the Road to Hana or going up Haleakala. The house is beautiful with large rooms, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. One of my favorite parts, aside from the lovely Lindsey who oversees the house, is the outside showers. Coming back from after a day at the beach or a long drive along the Road to Hana and then bathing outside in the privacy of the outdoor showers was wonderful! Be sure to check out the fence made of surfboards just down the road from the Inn. Be sure to sit and chat with Lindsey over a cup of coffee. Be sure to stay here is you want to get a feel for the real Hawaii."

  • What a place, what a place!

"We have been to Maui several times and will never stay anywhere else again! This condo is 100 steps from the ocean and I'm not talking about from the sand! That is only about 75 steps across a beautiful manicured lawn. Each morning, we walked down the beach about 80 yards and sipped our coffee watching the turtles play in the surf. Unbelievable! In the afternoons, we sat on the deck and watched kite and wind surfers sail from our beach. That's right, we didn't even have to walk those few steps to the beach to see this everyday. The instant you walk into the condo, you see the beautiful color of that blue water and you feel the stress from everyday life float away. In the mood for a volcano instead? Look out the window from the dining room and view Haleakala. This place has it all. Comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen, big living room areas, showers that massage your feet while you're in them, and a deck with a spectacular view. Hungry? Drive 4 short miles to Paia for the best cajun/blackened mahi you will ever have. We ate it everyday while there and I don't even like fish! This condo is on the quieter side of the island and it gets the trade winds so you don't suffer from the heat and humidity like on the other side. Will I go back? Every chance I get! I recommend you go, but not in September because that is when I'll be there! Have fun and don't miss out!"
