Excellent condo in Hawaii
"We have just had an amazing week in this beautiful condo. The location is absolutely perfect - close to the beach; pool; restaurants and shopping. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Thanks so much to Don and Karen for providing everything we needed to have a wonderful week. I have recommended this condo to many of my friends and hope to come back again next year. :)"

"My wife and I have been visiting Maui regularly for over 40 years and have been fond of the Kihei area and Kameole beaches over those years. This year we brought along my cousin and his wife for their 1st ever visit to Hawaii. The first 3 days were spent in Honolulu so we could all visit Pearl Harbor, but then down to Maui for a week of relaxation and the real Hawaii experience. We love Kam 1 beach and have stayed at the Royal Mauian once before; we chose it because of its unbeatable proximity to the ocean...about 50 feet! Since we had first timers along this time we did some typically tourist-like things such as the Old Lahaina Luau (expensive but quite good food and entertainment), Haleakala Crater, Mama's Fish House (also expensive but SO worth it!). We also took them to our favorite Maui entertainer Willie K at Mulligan's on the Blue in Wailai; never disappointing. Alii Resorts was wonderful with their communications throughout the booking process; we called them upon our early arrival in Kahului and they gave us an estimated time to meet them at the condo and advised that they would call us on our cell phone. This worked out very well for us as we had a bite to eat and did a bit of shopping and exploring. We met the Alii Resorts representative at the unit and she explained everything to us before leaving. The unit was well equipped with starter supplies which actually got us through the week (TP, soap, laundry and dishwasher detergent, trash bags, etc.). The view from the lanai was wonderful along with the convenient access to the beach. The 2 bedroom unit had 3 TV's all of which had balky remotes, the front door was a bit hard to close but these are really just nits...it's Hawaii and we did not need the TV to entertain us! The Royal Mauian is the best location to enjoy an oceanside experience in Hawaii and we certainly did."

"The strongest draw of this property is its location. It is close to west, south and airport. Two buses take you from OGG to this condo. There is a hidden and quiet public sandy beach right down the street and you can watch green turtles grazing by the property in the ocean. Moreover, it is the end unit that you can open the blinds to three directions. The kitchen is well stocked even with a rice cooker that pairs our family with Costco poke. As well the condo is equipped with beach toys. Finally, two king size beds in the two bedrooms will definitely relax you. We are definitely going back to the same unit in a couple of years as it has been our tradition to spend quality time during Christmas in somewhere warm and cozy."

"We had a wonderful stay in this condo. It was fully supplied with anything one could want, including a fabulous guide book. The owner's supplied a terrific list and recommendations of places to see and good restaurants. There is a market to the west that has a very good deli and delicious poke that we recommend. (If you like poke) The southernmost beaches are worth visiting if you want to find calmer waters and fewer people. We found the highly touted drive to Hana tiresome and so crowded that there was rarely room to pull off the road and see one of the sights. Still, you should probably do it because it is beautiful."
