  • Nice and private getaway

"My family of 4 stayed at the cottage for 3 nights and had a blast! The property is in a good location, close to town and is very private. The home was clean, comfortable and made a great resting place during the hotter part of the day. We spent each morning and evening swimming in the shore break at Koki beach and then lunch/siesta at the cottage. Would stay again if we come back to Hana."

  • Quite Hide Away in Paia

"This was my forth trip to Maui, with the first three being in Kihei. Nice change, nice quite street with property on dead end of street at the end of the street. Small beach just steps away were we saw green sea turtles, natural break, keeps waves calm and great for young kids. Great little deli / store within a 5 min walk which has great coffee, sandwiches, beer, wine and more. We walked to Paia and local beaches and Mamas Fish House which was also nice. Paula and Cliff took good care of us."

  • Heavenly Paradise

"Our stay in Maui was magical and a great part of it had to do with the fact that we stayed at the Windward B&B. The house is in great condition (clean & well maintained) and the landscaping is nothing short of looking like paradise. There were 7 of us in our party and we fit very comfortably in the entire house. Everything we needed was provided; toiletries, towels, coffee, tea, spices, cooking oils, and there were even some ice coolers and beach chairs for us to utilize during our days at the beach. The customer service Susan & Chris provided was SUPERB. They were very kind and shared valuable information with us regarding places to eat and areas to visit. There is no AC in the house but DO NOT WORRY, the AC is NOT necessary. The temperatures drop at night time and there is always a constant breeze which serves as nature's AC. There are plenty of screened windows and doors all around the house so it never felt stuffy. We stayed during the last week of June and it rained most days during the night and early morning which did not affect our daily plans and only made our mornings more fresh and crisp. I can go on and on about how lovely our stay was but in the essence of time, I will say this...Windward B&B by far exceeded our expectations and would definitely stay here again if we return to Maui!"

  • Beautiful cottage to relax and refresh. Perfect location, easily accessible. Ten minutes from Paia

"I'll begin by saying that we strategically chose two places on Maui to stay in order to have two different experiences. First- this beautiful, cozy, peaceful cottage right off the Road the Hana, near Haiku was a delight to find. We stayed 5 nights total before moving on. We followed the instructions perfectly from the owner's on how to find and access the cottage from the airport. All went seamlessly, which was good because it was a late arrival for our family after a full day of flying. We are a family of five, traveling with 2 teens and a ten yr. old. The first morning after arrival we read a note on the refrigerator left by owners giving recommendations to local groceries and stops. It was perfect, and we found the grocery store easily. Kitchen was well stocked with all that we would need at home. Also- a few refrigerator and cupboard staples were already present (sugar, spices, oil, butter, etc.) which was an incredible help. There was plenty of sleeping space for all of us. Super comfy beds. One bathroom meant that we had to rotate our showers, but that's fine by us. Towels galore, plenty of linens. Only had time to use the hot tub one time, but well-maintained and very clean area. Property had coconut and banana trees, and I am sure many others that I wouldn't know that names of. The owner even prepared two coconuts with straws for us to have a taste of coconut milk. Surprised and delighted... My personal favorite part of the cottage was having the windows open to allow the cross winds to blow through all night. At first, we were concerned about no A/C, but then as the Haiku spirit set in, we eased in to enjoying the natural setting. The Ualani Farm cottage was as described on the site. It was clean, well-maintained and cared for. We were so disappointed to have to leave our little cottage in Haiku to move to another side of the island. It provided us an experience that we will never forget on the country, more rain forest side of Maui. Until next time..."
