Perfect little bungalow - Amazing location!
"This property is SO amazing and the pictures don't do it justice! When we first arrived, we were blown away by how amazing the front lawn area is. It's right on the waters edge! The views are stunning and it's so comfortable and relaxing on those lounge chairs. Also a perfect spot to enjoy dinner or a cocktail and watch the sunset over West Maui!
The house itself was perfect and had everything you needed. Comfortable bed, nice sheets, great pillows and fans and AC's in both the bedroom and the living area. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook a great meal, and they even filled the fruit bowl with some of the delicious fruit that they have growing around their property. The outdoor patio is perfect for eating and just relaxing, while taking in the amazing views, and it's also covered which is great if you want to hang outside while its raining!
Other reviews have mentioned the noise of cars driving by (property is located right on a busy main road), but we didn't notice the noise even once. It's not loud enough to ever be a bother (my husband worked during the day and took a lot of phone calls inside and outside - never made a single comment about the noise from the traffic!), but if it does happen bother you, they kindly provide white noise machines.
The location is central, away from the hustle and bustle of the south side (yet very easy to get to), and at the start of the drive to Hana. Paia has quite a few good restaurants, and Mana Foods (a small natural health foods store) has everything you need to make a delicious meal, stock up on beach snacks, or find amazing locally made food items. You're also very close to the airport!
Valerie and Craig are so friendly, super accommodating and very understanding. The really make you feel comfortable and at home. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!"

"My family stayed here for 10 days in July. We have family living in Haiku, and the living room and dining area were both big enough that 6 of us plus a toddler were very comfortable hanging out together. There were a few minor issues that Mark was able to address almost immediately for us. I have only two suggestions to improve the experience. One is to install some kind of shades that can be used on the front corner windows in the late afternoon so the sun is not shining directly on our faces as we sit on the couch or at the table. The second is to replace the worn out beach gear. I would definitely recommend this rental to my friends."

"My wife, two children, and I spent two nights here at the beginning of July. Upon arriving we were greeted by Andrew and Robin who were making sure everything was in order for our stay. As soon as our baggage was put away, we fell into complete relaxation mode on the large covered porch. Views of endless tropical vegetation stretched to a horizon of blue Pacific. The interior was extremely comfortable and the owners have supplied everything you might need. My children loved all the local geckos that like to climb on the window screen in the evening. We found the home to be a perfect base for visiting the Kipahulu district of Haleakala national park, Hamoa Beach, and of course Hana town. We are already imagining our next trip to Maui, and we hope this house will be a part of it once again."

"This property was accurately described and very clean. Our hostess and host were very helpful in giving advice and insight. Not only is this property lovely, but our hostess did extra sweet touches (fresh flower arrangements & dinner table set and ready).
So glad we splurged and stayed overnight on this side of the island. Gave us so much more time to explore and rest. Stay at least one night. Travel tip, we looped from the south and then traveled the Hana Hwy back. Loved having the roads to ourselves. Moalo!"
