  • Hibiscus Hideaway: As lovely & peaceful as it looks!

"This place was SO PEACEFUL! So glad we didn't stay at the crowded & noisy resorts along the ocean. The hostess & caretaker were very warm hearted & helpful. Comfy bed. Birds singing every morning. After a busy day out exploring & snorkeling this was such a restful place to come "home" to. Unit is a bit smaller than it appears in photos. Spendier$ than Kauai, but all of Maui was/is. The optional 2nd bedroom may not be suitable for smaller children, as it accessible only by a door outside the main unit. We chose not to use it. Gives you an easy early start to Hana....the road to Hana was WORTH IT! ALL the way around. :) (Once you're there, you'll get home quicker if you keep going all the way around) Was a 12 hour day/drive, but we stopped lots & took many photos. The town of Paia is crowded but charming, & the Manna store in town is AMAZING! Great prices & amazing variety."

  • Exotic Off The Grid Experience Unique

"My wife and I enjoyed 3 exceptional days at this B&B. It is beautiful, exotic and peaceful. Mahalo This experience is not for everyone. If you need cabanas, clubbing and expensive resort restaurants, this isn't for you. If you want peace and serenity in a unique place, its exceptional. The owners are very respectful of the land and the environment. We enjoyed cooking on the open air deck. We had bought unbelievably fresh fish earlier in the day and finished the sauce with the tangerines from the trees on the property. On our trip to Maui, we stayed up country on a coffee plantation, a condo in Wailea for the beaches, and this B&B. It covered the range of experiences on the island. This was a great way to complete our week."

  • Beautiful cottage to relax and refresh. Perfect location, easily accessible. Ten minutes from Paia

"I'll begin by saying that we strategically chose two places on Maui to stay in order to have two different experiences. First- this beautiful, cozy, peaceful cottage right off the Road the Hana, near Haiku was a delight to find. We stayed 5 nights total before moving on. We followed the instructions perfectly from the owner's on how to find and access the cottage from the airport. All went seamlessly, which was good because it was a late arrival for our family after a full day of flying. We are a family of five, traveling with 2 teens and a ten yr. old. The first morning after arrival we read a note on the refrigerator left by owners giving recommendations to local groceries and stops. It was perfect, and we found the grocery store easily. Kitchen was well stocked with all that we would need at home. Also- a few refrigerator and cupboard staples were already present (sugar, spices, oil, butter, etc.) which was an incredible help. There was plenty of sleeping space for all of us. Super comfy beds. One bathroom meant that we had to rotate our showers, but that's fine by us. Towels galore, plenty of linens. Only had time to use the hot tub one time, but well-maintained and very clean area. Property had coconut and banana trees, and I am sure many others that I wouldn't know that names of. The owner even prepared two coconuts with straws for us to have a taste of coconut milk. Surprised and delighted... My personal favorite part of the cottage was having the windows open to allow the cross winds to blow through all night. At first, we were concerned about no A/C, but then as the Haiku spirit set in, we eased in to enjoying the natural setting. The Ualani Farm cottage was as described on the site. It was clean, well-maintained and cared for. We were so disappointed to have to leave our little cottage in Haiku to move to another side of the island. It provided us an experience that we will never forget on the country, more rain forest side of Maui. Until next time..."

  • Beautiful home to relax and enjoy the fresh air!

"Mahalo for sharing your beautiful home with us! We truly enjoyed every moment here (even though not nearly long enough with running around each day). We loved the convenient location to hop on the road to Hana as well as to head west to the beaches and up to the volcano. Paia is such a great little town and so close. The house was in great shape and Tracey was so pleasant to deal with. The property is beautiful and peaceful to sit on the porch and enjoy the fresh air each day and the ocean breezes. Thanks again!"
