  • Very well equipped. Comfortable and homey. Terrific location.

"We felt so fortunate to stay at this property. The grounds were lovely with banana and papaya trees and a lanai. The bed is so comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could ever want and more. A wonderful place to spend your time in Hana. We are so glad we did."

  • Truly dreamlike!

"We loved our stay in the little 'Banana Cottage' at the back of the property! The solitude and lushness of the setting exceeded our expectations. Avacados, oranges and coffee plants are within view of the doorstep. The cottage was simple but met our needs. The location has the best of both worlds; cool nights in a tropical rain garden but minutes away from warm beaches and the funky towns of Haiku and Paia. Coffee and goodies are just steps up the hill at 'Baked on Maui'. Gregg was a gracious host, always available but never intrusive. We would love to go back! • Perfect cottage in a perfect town

"My husband and I spent 2 nights in this lovely cottage with our 4 year old son. The location was perfect with easy access to Hana Town. The cottage was very clean and modern and plenty spacious for our family of 3. The large grassy yard was perfect for our son to play in while we cooked dinner and prepared for our day. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. Beach chairs, towels and boogie boards were available for use and were greatly appreciated. Highlights of our time in Hana included touring Hana Gold Chocolates where we learned about the chocolate making process beginning with how to identify a ripe Cocoa bean, through opening the beans, fermenting, roasting and grinding and ending with a delicious chocolate tasting. Our entire family enjoyed this very much. Other highlights included Hamoa beach, Waianapanapa State Park and eating lunch at the Hana Ranch Burger food truck (make sure you try their home made ginger beer, YUM!). We enjoyed every minute of our stay and plan on visiting this same cottage for a longer period of time in the future."

  • Beach house feel

"Beautiful little beach house theme in Haiku with high vaulted ceilings - very relaxing. Comfortable bed and a few little essentials for reheating food. Neighbors are very hospitable, owner was great with follow up! Cozy little piece of heaven for 2 and very well kept!"
