A lovely week's stay
"We stayed here for a week in July as my husband is a kitesurfer wanting somewhere to get in some solid everyday training. The location is really good for the beach and very quiet.
The apartment has a good kitchen and seating area, the balcony is a really good size too. There is air con in the bedroom but we found the doors left open with the mesh screen was enough.
The apartment was too far for us to walk to Paia which was a shame as it would have been nice to get out whilst my husband was kiting, but this didn't hinder us whatsoever.
The owners are lovely and very helpful. There's a fact sheet with local recommendations and ideas of things to do and see. We were there over July 4th and they invited us round to have dinner with their friends which was lovely and something we'll no doubt look back on fondly.
Under the apartment is a gorgeous huge seating area with BBQ and extra large fridge. We had a BBQ a couple of nights and the setting is just fantastic.
If you want a quiet relaxing break then this place is for you."

A peaceful, comfortable, alternative to plastic central
"For those people like ourselves, who like the more rustic/country style of accomodation, then Ho'omana spa is a great alternative. Simple quiet, cool, self contained where breakfast is supplied( fresh fruit, juice, Danish) although we did add cereal & yogurt of our own. Township of Makawao just 10 minutes down the hill with a good restaurant Casanova, where we had 2 dinners. Good location to explore the Island, being in the middle so we could drive west & east & see all the best spots"

"We have been to Maui several times and will never stay anywhere else again! This condo is 100 steps from the ocean and I'm not talking about from the sand! That is only about 75 steps across a beautiful manicured lawn. Each morning, we walked down the beach about 80 yards and sipped our coffee watching the turtles play in the surf. Unbelievable! In the afternoons, we sat on the deck and watched kite and wind surfers sail from our beach. That's right, we didn't even have to walk those few steps to the beach to see this everyday. The instant you walk into the condo, you see the beautiful color of that blue water and you feel the stress from everyday life float away. In the mood for a volcano instead? Look out the window from the dining room and view Haleakala. This place has it all. Comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen, big living room areas, showers that massage your feet while you're in them, and a deck with a spectacular view. Hungry? Drive 4 short miles to Paia for the best cajun/blackened mahi you will ever have. We ate it everyday while there and I don't even like fish! This condo is on the quieter side of the island and it gets the trade winds so you don't suffer from the heat and humidity like on the other side. Will I go back? Every chance I get! I recommend you go, but not in September because that is when I'll be there! Have fun and don't miss out!"

"Had everything we needed. The owners pets are wonderful and the family is very nice and helpful. I loved the screened in kitchen and you feel like your in the jungle. The rest of the reviews are right, the bakery is top notch. Stay here and be away from the rush and just relax."
