  • Lovely Kula Kottage

"We loved our week stay at the Kula Kottage! The view is fantastic and the area is very private. The cottage is made of solid cedar and very sturdy. The sunsets and rainbows were stunning. Debra was very accommodating when we didn't have hot water due to the cloud cover over the solar panels. She sent George over to reset the hot water timer. George built the house and he knows it inside and out. He sat with us on the Lanai and told us about the house and interesting information about Maui. We had a wonderful experience and will go back and stay at the cottage again. It was nice to go snorkeling at the beach in Lahaina or Wailea and come back to relax at the cottage, away from all the tourists!"

  • Beautiful home, wonderful property.

"A beautiful home, gorgeous property, minutes from downtown Hana and Hana area attractions. My family and I highly recommend this home. We stayed 3 nights at Hale Heavenly Hana with my two adult children and my wife. The home is immaculate, and outfitted with top of the line amenities including a gourmet kitchen with everything you need to cook, indoor/outdoor showers and a fully screened-in wrap around deck. The owners provided us great suggestions on local activities, local outfitters and all information necessary to insure a wonderful time. When we arrived we found an arrangement of fresh tropical flowers and a bowl of fresh fruit from their garden. It felt as though we were not staying at a rental but visiting our friends home. We visited 4 different parts of the Island during our Maui visit including Kapalua, Wailea, Kula. Without compare our time in Hana and along the Hana Highway was the highlight of our trip. Don't miss it."

  • A return to Haleakala Princess is definitely in our future

"What can I say about Haleakala Princess without gushing?! This was truly the most wonderful place I have ever stayed and would (and have) recommend it to everyone. We are a blended family and took the three girls (aged 13-22) and one boy (25) on our first family vacation together and this couldn't have been better. The view down the side of the mountain was truly spectacular and the sight of the two rainbows crossing into each other one morning will never be forgotten. We live on an island but I am originally from Wales, and the perfect blend of island and mountain views in one place is stunning and heart warming. The! Fantastic modern décor inside the house with giant windows and sliding glass doors made particularly to enjoy the incredible view. We loved that the master bedroom was on the other side of the house on its own, which gave us a modicum of privacy from the kids...when they weren't using the favourited shower in the master bath...and the beds...well I cant speak for the kids' beds but the master bed; I had been suffering with an injured back for several months before our vacation and had been having trouble sleeping without pain. The master bed certainly assisted in the recovery of this pain....ahhhh such good nights' sleeps. The kids very much loved sitting out at the fire pit or in the hot tub in the evenings and they most definitely bonded a little more chatting out there each night. The owner has created a gated, peaceful oasis with such wonderful, enviable landscaping (definitely gave us some ideas on landscaping for our own property here in Cayman), we even found a very friendly chameleon, whom we christened Jorge :) The location was ideal for us also; high up in the mountains so we had cool morning air and a great jumping off spot for our sightseeing; the road to Hana....the whole way around!, the Lahaina Luau, surfing in Kihei and of course Haleakala Crater.... where we (surprise to me!! :)) became engaged. Cathy and Melody are an absolute joy to work with and could answer all of our questions and relieve any worries we had in trying to make this a great holiday for the kids to remember as their first all together, making suggestions along the way as well. They are a one-stop-shop making it all such an easy process; car rental, tour ideas and we can't leave out Mallory who even did some grocery shopping for us so that after a 12 hour journey we only needed to settle in and relax. Thank you so much ladies!!"

  • Loved it! The real Maui

"Nice quaint cottage away from the most touristy areas of Maui. Felt like a home away from home. Beautiful gardens, very quiet, prefered it to the Hyatt Regency in Kaanapali. Gregg and Danielle were wonderful, gave us our privacy, and gifted us with a nice card and bottle of Champagne to celebrate our wedding day. Loved our stay here."
