  • Could not ask for more! Amazing View, Private Beach, Beautiful Sunsets, Turtles & Only 18 units!

"When we started looking for a place to stay in Maui we knew that we were going to go VRBO, as we have stayed at several before and have had excellent results. We like quiet places that we can sit back and enjoy ourselves without the hustle and bustle of large hotels and resorts. So, I was super thankful, I can across Jay and Pam’s place! 18 units is pretty small considering it is Maui! We got in late and was pleasantly surprised to see a welcome card from Jay and Pam and our Lanai open with the ocean right there just mere feet away. As tired as we were we wanted to check the place out and were happy to discover that it was well furnished and had all the amenities that we would need for our stay. I do have to say the water in November was wonderful. (We could not do that in Oregon. Lol) We should have spent more time swimming than we did. It was great to be able to just walk a few feet and jump in the water. We did not see any whales but we did see lots of turtles and even a Pueo owl one evening. For us the weather was perfect and kept the nice big screen doors open the entire time. Loved hearing the ocean and smelling the salt air. The view is amazing and the sunset are gorgeous as well. When we come back to Maui, we will be staying here! I would recommend Hoyochi Nikko #209 to anyone who is thinking about heading to Maui and is looking for a great place to stay. The on-site managers are super friendly too. They keep the grounds impeccably clean and beautiful. Thank you, Jay and Pam for allowing us to stay at your place. We had an excellent time."

  • Great location. Owners thought of everything you could possibly need.

"We loved our stay at Maui Sands. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean and organized. They provided beach towels, a couple coolers , a boogie board, snorkel gear, even shampoo and body wash. It was a close walk to the market and many places to eat. The only bad thing was the condo being close to the street and traffic but even that wasn't that bad. We will definitely stay here again."

  • Lovely condo

"Stayed here from Nov. 12-17th, 2016. Lovely condo, great spot. Loved being on the main floor. It was clean and they even had a box of chocolate macadamia nuts waiting for us, thank you, they were delicious and a nice touch. The view is amazing, we are from Toronto, and our timing was pretty screwed up the first couple of nights, we woke up very early the first morning and caught the super moon reflecting on the ocean. Just spectacular! The outdoor space is larger because it's on the main floor. The condo is great, had everything we needed, and we did cook almost every day. Bed is comfortable, and you really don't need the a/c at that time of year for sleeping. One point I would like to make, the pool was very cloudy the whole time we stayed there, and although a note was posted that it was safe to swim in and they were treating the water, we never swam in it, nor did we see anyone swimming in it. I have a pool in my backyard, if it gets cloudy, we treat it and it usually clears within 24 hours. Times and Safeway grocery store is the place to grocery shop. Get the Safeway card to save money. We went to the Old Lahaina Luau, loved it, and it was close by the condo. Front Street was fun to walk up and down. We also drove the Road To Hana, we rented a soft top Jeep Wrangler, and it is the vehicle to drive it. Go early, it took us 7 hours to go and return. It is beautiful, so picturesque, waterfalls everywhere. If you are a golfer, take the drive to Kapalua Plantation Course, the view from the clubhouse is postcard perfect. The last night we were there we ate at Pacific'O, all food grown on a local farm, and fresh fish, and it's right on the waterfront. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for letting us stay at your condo, 'perfect' is an understatement!"
