  • Clean Well Equipped Unit

"I could not be happier with my stay in this unit! The property itself is meticulously kept and absolutely gorgeous. This unit is feet from one of the fantastic pools on the property and a short walk from both the beach in front of the Ka'anapali Villas and from the neighboring Kahekili Beach Park. We were able to park within a few hundred feet of our unit making unloading the Costco Cache a breeze. Don't worry about road noise, because there is none. The free shuttle delivers guests to Whaler's Village where you can enjoy shopping dining or walk down to the beach and snorkel Black Rock. Return to the condo at the end of a beautiful day and sleep in the comfort of an air-conditioned (central) room. If you are considering staying anywhere on the West side of Maui, book this unit!"

  • Wonderful!

"We were very pleased with the level of service we received from Jill and Terry throughout the whole process and trip. After having a friend be scammed with a rental on the big island, I was a bit nervous, but they made everything so easy and provided all of the information we needed. The condo was very clean, organized and well-appointed with everything that we could have needed during our trip. It was so helpful that they had beach gear available and we were happy to have all the amenities of home (i.e. W/D, coffee maker, etc) during our stay. The location of the condo is great - near (but not too near) the elevator and on the quiet side of the building. The store being walking distance was also a very nice convenience. The pools were a big hit with the kids and the beach, although not huge and a bit rocky, was good for boogie boarding. Everything else is not too far of a drive (or long walk) such as Whaler's Village and other hotels, beaches. We would most definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back and stay here again and again."

  • No better resort to watch the ocean and sunsets

"We booked a 2-bedroom suite at Maui Kai through the owner of this unit. Best thing about this condo is the million-dollar view that is superior to much more expensive hotels. In the Kaanapali area, most hotels are set a way back from shore, so you get a partial ocean view. At Maui Kai, you are literally steps away from the ocean, so you have a full 180 degrees, unobstructed view. We couldn't get enough of the view, from early morning to gorgeous sunset. The two attached units are very convenient if you have two families. One unit is a studio with full kitchen, bath, queen bed and a pull out sofa. The other unit is a one-bedroom corner unit with full kitchen and pull out sofa. They are connected by a lockable door. Both units are nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is fully stocked with modern amenities to allow you to cook meals at home. Very quiet, A/C works well, good water pressure. Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas and boogie boards are there for you to borrow. There are laundry facilities on the floors above and below. Plenty of off-street parking, but the pool, BBQ area and club house is pretty basic. Very convenient location, close to some nice beaches and far enough from Lahaina traffic. Overall, I would absolutely love to go back to stay at these units again. We love them! The owner of this unit is really easy to work with. She is very responsive and helpful. She gave us her Local Girl's Guide to Maui to take with us to Maui. Lots of helpful tips, we followed her advice on beaches, restaurants, markets. Proof that you don't have to spend a lot of money in order for good entertainment, eat well, and eat like the locals!"

  • Wonderfully located ocean view property

"My husband and I recently went on our honeymoon to Maui and stayed at this condo for 4 nights. It is located at the very popular Kaanapali beach. The property is very clean and maintained. It was stocked with clean linens, soaps, and paper products. They even have beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella you can use. We grabbed some groceries at the SafeWay on the way in and had a few meals in to save some money. We did a couple loads of laundry as well which was nice to not have to pack wet clothes. We could walk out of the resort and walk on the beach and on the boardwalk past neighboring properties. The resort has beautiful pools and nice hot tubs on site as well. We ate at Duke's, the onsite restaurant, for 2 meals and it's delicious! One of our favorite parts was sitting outside on the lanai (balcony) having breakfast and watching the sunrise or dinner/drinks at sunset. The view of Lanai and the water is breathtaking. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Maui one day!!"
