  • Perfect Pick for Whale Watching!

"This is an amazingly beautiful property inside and out. It is a two bedroom condo that has two spacious bedroom suites with tubs and showers. The lanai is huge and overlooks the water. We were fortune during our trip this January 2017 to enjoy watching the humpback whales and ended up taking a whale watching tour to get a closer look. This is a great place to stay as you can walk all the way to the East side of Kaanapali past Whaler's Village and take in the beaches, restaurants and shops and catch whale watching tours and luau's without using a car. We brought two of our grown children - young men - and they had plenty to do on their own. We also plan on renting this unit again and bringing our daughters that have young children, because they would very much enjoy the pool system and proximity to restaurants and activities as well as having a fully equipped kitchen. The pool area has adult and family areas. Duke's restaurant in on the premise and has an excellent seafood assortment. All the fish entrees are caught fresh in Hawaii and all delicious. The owners were very easy to work with and we were met in the lobby at our arrival and given pertinent information. Our security deposit was returned right after we left and I am looking forward to renting this unit or a larger one from the same owner. The beach during January is a little rougher than during the summer. It is fine for boogie boarders and those that are adventuresome. We chose to walk a little East where is was calmer to swim, and snorkeled near Black Rock by the Sheraton. Whaler's Village is a 35 minute walk and filled with fun shops and the Hula Grill is great, though sometimes crowded due to popularity. I liked the location of this condo in Honua Kai because it was closer to the water. Can't say enough good things about our experience! Cindy ps.... very comfy beds and quiet condo.... rest and relaxation at its best!"

  • The Perfect Island Paradise

"We stayed for a week long vacation from January 14-21. We are so glad we chose to stay here because everything surpassed our expectations. The unit is in a prime location on the inside of the Hokulani tower overlooking the pool, the ocean, and the island of Molokai in the distance. The condo was very spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything from utensils, plates, pots, pans, and a blender to cooking spray, spices, aluminum foil, ziploc bags, and coffee filters. And best of all, the sliding glass doors open up to the lanai so you can relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. There is a private wifi network, but we found it to be a pretty slow connection. Minor detail. We had to keep in mind that this is not a hotel, so daily housekeeping service was not something that we could expect. But Brian even went out of his way to have the maids come by mid-week to change out our linens, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, we also had a nice gift basket waiting for us with mac nut chocolates, Hawaiian coffee, among other snacks and treats, which was a very nice touch. If you don't feel like cooking, there is a Duke's Beach House right on the property. Their servers would walk around the pool area and offer to bring drinks or food throughout the day. The menu was a bit pricey, as was the case with every restaurant on Maui, but they had a pretty good happy hour and live music every day. The water heater in the pool was apparently down for repair when we were there, which made swimming pretty chilly, but the pools were still great for both kids and adults. One of the very nice things about staying here was that it didn't feel crowded like the big resorts, although if you wanted a chair by the pool with an umbrella (which were bolted to the ground by the way, so you couldn't move them throughout the day to stay out of the sun), you had to snag one pretty early. The condo's proximity to both the beach and the pool was unbeatable. Literally just steps away from both, unlike other resorts we have stayed at where you had to hike a ways. Great snorkeling even right off the beach, where we saw fish, sea turtles, and could watch the whales from the shore. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and will definitely plan on coming back! Thank you Brian for doing everything you did to make our stay in your unit a dream come true!"

  • Very nice one bedroom apartment

"The apartment is very confortable and well located. The responsables for take care of us were very helpful and kind always answering any questions right away and trying to do the best they could. The view wasn't fantastic, but ok. We had everything we need to a great vacation. Just as a help to improve I'd suggest review the pillows and linen."
