  • Family vacation

"Spent a week at Honua Kai Konea 350. 6 adults two young children ( 6 and 4). It was a great place for all of us. 3 BR 3Bath. Spacious. Well designed with bedrooms away from living space and very private and quiet. We put the little ones on rollaways in the 2nd largest bedroom and still had plenty of room. Comfy. Had everything we needed from laundry to kitchen. Wrap around deck was a great place to hang for evening cocktail. Had a great view of the ocean even though we were on the 3rd floor. Kids loved the pools but when we went to the beach we went off property because the coral, rocks and high surf made it difficult for the little ones. We had high winds for most of our stay so don't know if surf would have been less rough with different wind conditions. We really enjoyed Dukes' ( restaurant on site) happy hour. And a birthday dinner with all 8 of us there was great. It was pricey but not out of line with most of the other places. We rented the unit through Maui Resort Realty and Chris and Adam were more than helpful and easy to work with from pre-rental to check out."

  • Spring Break and Family Vacation 2017

"Honua Kai is spectacular from the moment you drive up. The grounds and reception area are immaculate! Walking through the reception area to the outside is a beautiful view. The pool area is secluded from sight and sound of the reception area, which is nice. The unit itself was perfect. There were six adults in our party. We had more than ample room for privacy and individual space with the huge lanai, living room and bedrooms. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious with large closets. The lanai was unbelievable - huge with plenty of seating and lounging areas. It was just a few steps through the hedge to the pool and Dukes Beach House. Our dinner at Dukes was great! Brandon, the owner, was thorough and very easy to work with as was his property manager, Monty. When in Maui we would definitely rent this unit again."

  • A wonderful stay

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Ka'anapali Folly. The suite was ready when we arrived, and the management company representative met us in the lobby and gave us a tour of the rooms, how things operated, etc. The suite was clean and ready for us to "move in." The corner location is very nice, as it affords not only great views of the property and the ocean - including Lanai in the background - but also provides a way to find sun or shade as you desire. The balcony is oriented so that it receives morning sun, but shade is plentiful in the afternoon. The closet is well stocked with snorkel gear, boogie boards and lawn chairs. The site location is convenient to shopping at either a local grocery store across the street (could be walking distance if you don't have too much to carry) or at a Safeway located a couple of miles down the road. Whalers Village is either a long walk along the ocean, or a short five minute drive away. Lahaina is a 10 minute drive at the most. We enjoyed our stay at Ka'anapali Folly, and would definitely come back again!"
