  • A terrific place and a terrific location

"We had a fabulous time. The rental was as advertised. Right on ocean with good ocean swimming and two pools and two hot tubs. and one additional tub for smaller children. One of the best parts was using the grills provided at the edge of the ocean while watching the sunset. Customer service by the owner is excellent. Bonnie is a delight. On one occasion we desired extra blanket, linens, etc. for a cot and Bonnie quickly provided them. Easy proximity to Whalers Village to shop and eat and plenty of snorkeling right outside and more challenging snorkeling close by as well. Definitely recommend to others and plan on returning ourselves."

  • Favorite Place...

"I have been staying here since the first building opened and it has been delightful. Spent many family vacations and anniversary trips here! Just returned for a few weeks with my daughter's family introducing the next generation to this amazing apartment at the Kaanapali Alii condo complex. The apartment is perfect for a peaceful, enjoyable user friendly stay. Truly my most favorite place on the islands and I have been visiting them since 1970! Four generations have enjoyed this complex and best of all this unit. Highly recommend."

  • One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed

"We recently stayed at this condo and had a wonderful time (it felt more like a home than a condo). When we first opened the front door, the view in this condo took our breath away. It was well decorated, everything was in excellent condition, and the views were nothing short of spectacular. The beds were comfortable, the sectional was perfect - was open to the kitchen and dining room and offered a great view of the TV and beach. The space and amenities worked well for myself, my husband and my two sons (21 & 14). I was even able to get some work done while enjoying an amazing view, using the free wi-fi , and the beautifully carved table in the dining. This was centrally located- close to Whaler's Village, restaurants, nearby hotels and some of the best snorkeling at Black Rock. I love the boardwalk that runs along the beach. The pool was wonderful, with food service available from a nearby restaurant. Chairs were available on the beach. I said many times during the trip that I could not have been more pleased with our choice of this condo (my husband was shocked, because he rarely ever hears me say that). We had a great time and I can honestly say, our enjoyment was, in large part, due to our stay in this luxurious well appointed home. I was so sad to leave. I will really miss it. ‘Mahalo’- for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. We are truly grateful for the experience."

  • Great for families!

"The common areas at Ka'anapali Alii are phenomenal. Beautiful pool. Two spas. Very nice exercise gym. Our whole family plays tennis, so we enjoyed the tennis courts, which are immaculately maintained. They are clay, but it was fun playing on a different surface for a change. There are several grills near the pool/beach. When my husband took steaks, burgers, hot dogs to the grills, there was an employee there that helped him! The steaks, etc, came out perfect! If you would like to eat by the grills, there is a large shaded area nearby with several tables that will seat large families. The location of this property is superb. You can walk to Whaler's Village in 5 minutes or less. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! This particular unit is perfect for families (or traveling with friends). My husband and I traveled with 4 teenagers and grandpa. The unit was very clean. We found a couple of towels that didn't look like they had been laundered, but for the most part the unit was spotless. This particular unit could use a few items such as alarm clocks (yes, people tend to use their cell phones these days, but some of us still use alarm clocks); a griddle for pancakes, another light for reading in the the bedroom w/ the 2 queen beds. The TV in the master was great, but we had major issues with the TV in the den. Sometimes we couldn't even get it to come on. The TVs in the other 2 bedrooms were a bit petite for the size of the rooms. We also had issues with the dishwasher and garbage disposal. It might be helpful to include a notebook with "how-to's" on running the TVs (maybe a listing of channels), dishwasher, etc. Just a thought. But overall, we enjoyed stayed here. Would definitely stay here again!"
