  • Our Best Maui Trip Ever

"Thank you Pamela and Jim for sharing your amazing penthouse suite with us! We have been to Maui many times and have always stayed at the Grand Wailea. This was our first time staying in a Condo and we are hooked! This condo made us feel like we were at home. It is very private, quiet and comfortable. The view from both inside the condo and out on the lanai is nothing short of spectacular. The minute you walk in to the condo the view takes your breath away! Our evening sunsets out on the lanai were so awesome that we only went out to dinner one time because we wanted to be on the lanai every night. The one dinner we had was in Paia at Mamas Fish House and it was amazing. The location of the condo is great too. We hit Costco as soon as we arrived. Then once we got to the condo everything we needed was there. We walked to the Times market, Java Jazz, Bad Ass Coffee, Farmers Market, Snorkel Bobs and Dukes. This was an incredible experience and we will definitely be back to this condo! We highly recommend this condo. You will not be disappointed. Have an awesome day!"

  • A Great Stay and Great Value for the area.

"My family of 4 stayed here between July 24 and August 2. The unit is just as advertised. We enjoyed meals on the lanai (great sunsets) and even had friends over for a cookout in the pool area which has two very nice grills and large picnic tables. Another plus was the air conditioning. While there is a great breeze coming in off the ocean, it was muggy during our stay and the AC was definitely nice to have. Parking is no problem and the unit is a short drive from Lahaina and the "high rent" district of Kaanapaali Beach. We had friends staying at the Maui Marriott Ocean Club and it is roughly 2.5 miles down the beach walk to get there (meaning Black Rock and Whaler's Village are even closer). Another great feature is the grocery store located roughly 1/3 mile from the unit. Very convenient. I would suggest you check in to get an inventory of what is there (there were a ton of coffee filters for example) prior to hitting the grocery store. We did a nice variety of dining out and eating food that we prepared. This is a great way to experience Maui without breaking the bank. Jennifer was great to deal with and the unit provided everything we needed. If you want the Ritz, look elsewhere. If you want a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, nice place - I encourage you to book with Jennifer. I did a lot of research prior to booking and am pleased we found this unit. We would gladly stay here again if we are fortunate enough to travel to Maui again. Thank you Jennifer for a wonderful stay. It was nice to meet you! -- Brian Gordon & Family"

  • Loved this property!

"Had a great week with our family here! It was very comfortable and the staff was AMAZING. Anything we needed, really anything, they were there with it super quick! Everyone from housekeeping to the pool guy were all so friendly and go out of their way for you. It was nice being able to cook (no stove) but really every other appliance you would need. We hated to leave and would love to go back very soon."

  • Best Place to Celebrate!

"This past May my husband booked a surprise trip to Maui for my 40th Birthday Day. We stayed at the Maui Kai Condo complex, #504. If you are into breathtaking views of the Pacific this is the place to stay. From the lanai, you basically, sit incredibly close to the waves. From the lanai you (of course, with a glass of pinot noir in hand) take in all the activity the ocean has to offer turtles, whales, cruise ships, surfers, the islands both to the right and left of your view and in the sky gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. This is a place where you can escape the big hotels and the crowds. This is a place where the owners of the unit, Al and Lyn go out of their way to make sure you have a fabulous time. You arrive to a special welcoming basket. You notice immediately of course, the sweeping view from the front door. You also notice everything your every need is right here from kitchen utensils to boogie boards. The location is great with a large grocery store across the street, a wonderful promenade along the ocean with several restaurant offerings. We ate twice at Dukes which is almost next door. We highly recommend #504 at the Maui Kai. We will return for sure next year. BTW I had the BEST ever birthday in Maui! Thank you Al and Lyn."
