"The only complaint I would have is the pool is small and is shaded most of the time.."

  • Great Condo Rental

"My wife and I spent 8 nights in Mahana 114 and really enjoyed ourselves. Normally we book condos on high floors but this ground floor unit was really convenient as the ocean is literally steps from the patio. The owners were great to work with and the unit has virtually everything you will need. Shopping is nearby and very convenient. I can validate the other reviews for this unit are accurate so I won't repeat them. I will add that you should wear water shoes if you are going into the ocean. Since you likely are reviewing multiple condos to identify which one to stay at...this unit should be on your short list of final properties to consider! Also, if you plan on a driving tour of the island, and you will want to do this, I highly recommend you download the GyPSy app from iTunes or Google Play. It is a GPS based app that is absolutely loaded with great info. We purchased versions of this app for both the Big Island and Maui and found both to be excellent."

  • Loved this property!

"Had a great week with our family here! It was very comfortable and the staff was AMAZING. Anything we needed, really anything, they were there with it super quick! Everyone from housekeeping to the pool guy were all so friendly and go out of their way for you. It was nice being able to cook (no stove) but really every other appliance you would need. We hated to leave and would love to go back very soon."

  • Simply paradise!

"We had an amazing stay in unit #504! We visit the island every year around Halloweentime, to enjoy the festivities, and to take in all of the unique costumes, and to people watch, in Lahaina, on Halloween night. The weather is pretty consistent and nice at this time too. The condo was absolutely gorgeous, and had a spectacular open deck, with a view of Molokai and Lanai. We spotted turtles in the coral beds, watched the surfers, saw several outrigger canoes and paddle boarders, catamaran dinner cruisers, took in nightly unbelievable sunsets (whilst listening to the local conch shells being blown right at the moment of sunset), enjoyed some flame less candlelit eve's watching the waves and moon & stars, over a shared glass of wine. We sometimes met up with our Maui Kai friendly sunsetter cocktail clan, down on the bulkhead in their nightly sunset ritual. We also shared many communal dinners with our family and friends (also staying on theur own at M.Kai around same time we were), near the grilling area, using the picnic tables right next to the cabana, near pool. Afterwards, we cleaned up and jumped in hot tub and cooled off in pool, with tiki lights ablazing. In addition to catching up with friends who dtay every year at the same tIme, we also met lots of new couples this year, which was a blast too! Napili Beach is closeby, so we also spent some time there, which was really lovely. We also did a motorcycle ride in upcountry, and visited the winery and gorgeous, lush green grounds. We didn't mind the light sprinkles that seemed to evaporate once hitting our skin. We took in a sobering Seahawk loss at Lulu's one morning (but the breakfast was yummy, and environs was still fun). We went to Longhis in Lahaina for breakfast, Slappycakes (nearby), a favorite, and had munch at the Stopwatch, when on our upcountry ride. We saved our shopping day in Lahaina for last, near end of trip. Surprisingly, we think our men ended up with more gift bags than the women that day! Not that we didn't have a blast too. We've gone shopping in the past at Whaler's Village, Cannery Mall (near Safeway), and Kihei. I did again make it to Banana Tradewinds (an island style import gift shop) in Cannery Mall, for my usual jewelry, shells, starfish christmas ornaments, and other unique gifts, this year. They don't weigh down the ole suitcase so much going back to mainland. We really had a great time. Got lots of much needed R&R in....I hope to stay again in this unit with its beautiful island style, lovely welcoming touches (Lyn, thank you so much for the surprise welcome gift basket! So thoughtful!) We felt so at home, and you just can't beat the view from the deck! Thank you for making this an amazing stay, one we'll remember for years to come."
