  • Very reasonably priced cottage

"We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for those wanting a clean accommodation at a great price. Grounds are gorgeous, quiet, and well maintained. Walk to beach! Closeness to highway leads to some traffic noise, but it didn't bother us and we would gladly stay here again. Owners very responsive."

  • Love Papakea

"We are missing Papakea already. My family of five stayed in this unit for 12 days and had a fantastic time. The unit was clean and lots of supplies. Thank you for having 3 boogie boards and 5 chairs we used them everyday. We enjoyed all the closes beaches but our favorite was DT Fleming awesome for Boogie boarding. H building is one of the best building for sun and views. We had great whale shows almost everyday. We had the construction going on while we were there and never even knew unless you walked to the Sea wall. Thank you for letting us stay we will definitely be back to Papkea. Lemming"

  • Perfect in every way!

"This was our 4th time staying at the Honua Kai and 2nd time at Konea 815. We adore this beautiful studio. It's very spacious, nicely decorated with modern furnishings, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. Everything we needed was right there in this spacious studio. The resort itself was clean, not overly crowded, plenty of lounge chairs and space to find near pool. We spent most of our time at the adult pool, which was nice. I love kids, but now that my son is older, it was nice to not have to hang around by the kid pool. We always love eating at Dukes, which also supplies the pool side food service. The nachos and hula pie are my favorite! I have recommended this place to all my friends, and not one has been disappointed! The only thing I have a problem with is the beach area. The snorkeling is better in front of the Westin ocean resort villas, as it's too rocky with coral, etc. you definitely have to wear water shows going out in front of the Honua Kai. Other than that, perfect!"

  • Maui Kai 905 is fantastic

"The Maui Kai is a very comfortable, low-key condo building with about 75 units. Great location right on the beach. Easy walking distance to farmer's market, grocery store, great dining and shopping sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unit 905 is a one-bedroom condo on the 9th floor, beautifully decorated with a lot of local hand-crafted artwork. Very up-to-date and well-equipped kitchen. They even have a conch shell so we could join in the sunset chorus every evening. Very comfortable with a fantastic view. We loved the views of the ocean and the sound of the waves. We booked through the owners who were very prompt in all our communications and very considerate in helping us schedule our visit. They were a real pleasure to work with. We recommend unit 905 very highly and hope to stay there again soon."
