  • Our Home Away From Home

"We absolutely loved and enjoyed our time on Maui and staying here just enhanced our experience. Conveniently located on the first floor, it was easy to walk off the lanai right to the beach, pool or bbq area. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Shopping (including a grocery store) and a few restaurants are within walking distance. The view from the front window is beautiful and the sunsets are amazing. The king size bed was so comfortable, we had no problem sleeping at night - maybe the sound of waves had something to do with that too. :) I did my research and staying in a resort along Kaanapali beach in just a king size room in most cases would cost you more than double what you would pay to stay here. I highly recommend staying in this unit. The decor right down to the little details enhanced the island experience. We will, without a doubt, stay here again when we visit Maui in the future."

  • Great week in Unit 625 at Honua Kai

"This condo was perfect. Decor is very nice and high-end. Very roomy as well. He had 4 adults and 2 teens and had more than enough room. The view off the balcony is excellent as it looks directly towards the water. Mornings and sunsets were a ritual for us on the balcony. Brand new huge flat panel TV in the living room with a bunch of DVDs to watch. Built in wall speakers show the attention to detail that this owner has gone through. Each room has TVs with DVD players as well so you can split up if some quiet time is needed. Bathrooms are very modern and tons of room in shower and sink counters. The unit is very close to the elevator which is great. Especially since we did not hear a peep from the elevator area. Kitchen is very updated with granite counters, huge fridge, beverage fridge, 2 ovens and all the utensils you would need. We bought tons of groceries and was able to prepare anything we needed. A nice touch was there were certain food/beverage items left over like spices, beer, soda, etc that was part of the stay. There were beach chairs and other pool equipment in the closet which was a great touch. Also, the owner was really good to work with. Constant communication and multiple offers to let them know if something was not up to our satisfaction. You do not find that often. All in all, this unit was amazing and there would be no reason to look anywhere else. When we come back, I will definitely look this place up."

  • Perfect location

"This was our first family trip to Maui and staying at the Whaler1056 ensured the perfect week. The central location of 1056 offers beautiful views of Ka'anapali beach and Black Rock and is in close proximity of shops and restaurants. My daughters used the provided boogie boards, diving masks, and beach chairs daily. Both girls learned to surf by taking lessons minutes out the front door. Based on our experience, we are making Ka'anapali an annual trip and , if possible, staying at 1056."

"Outstanding condo...breathtaking views...perfect combination for an amazing vacation! You couldn't ask for a better furnished, better equipped, more high end condo! It was the best! And that spectacular view - It just doesn't get any hard to leave. You have thought of everything to make your beautiful home our temporary slice of heaven. I am a stickler for clean and you nailed it. Here's hoping we can return again in the future. Mahalo, Mahalo, Mahalo!"
