  • Loved this property!

"Had a great week with our family here! It was very comfortable and the staff was AMAZING. Anything we needed, really anything, they were there with it super quick! Everyone from housekeeping to the pool guy were all so friendly and go out of their way for you. It was nice being able to cook (no stove) but really every other appliance you would need. We hated to leave and would love to go back very soon."

  • Desirable Location & Amenities!

"From the time we booked with Julie (9 months before we travelled) to our actual stay, we had a fabulous experience! Julie was always prompt with answering questions. She advised us of some reno work done to the sea wall during our stay and gave us a a sizeable rebate on our stay - some owners were not providing this so we r grateful Julie did this for us. The condo itself was great - everything u could need for a week! The lanai door and screen was very hard to open and when we advised Julie it was repaired within a few days - they even installed a new screen door - kudos to the maintenance staff. Loved how close we were to ABC store and the Times Grocery - just walk across the street. Great pool, barbecues and putting range on site. Check out craft beers at the Maui Brewing Co. just down the street. Central to everything! We booked some excursions through Expedia who provided a 1 hour welcome talk at Papakea Resort which were well priced. We bought groceries at Costco on our way to the condo and cooked most bites at the condo (fresh Mahi Mahi) and only ate out twice at the Old Lahaina Luau ( book it early ) and our last nite at Fleetwoods in Lahaina (Mick Fleetwoods Restaurant) on their Rooftop Bar overlooking the ocean - Devine! Loved Papakea K303! The pics on vrbo r exactly how the condo looks including the view!! Mahalo Julie! We did not want to leave! Kim, Brian, Carole and Paul - Ontario Canada"

  • Perfect oceanfront condo, steps to food and shops

"Wow. My husband and I have stayed in a fair number of properties billed as oceanview or oceanfront. Is it possible to have too perfect of a view smack in front of the water where the waves are kinda loud because you're so close? We saw rainbows daily and sunset from the deck. This is an excellent rental and Nancy and Jeff have thought of all the touches renters might need to make their stays more pleasant, down to the boogie boards, beach cooler and kitchen essentials. Thanks also for the welcome pineapple and wine! We stayed here for four nights to celebrate our elder daughter's college graduation and were also accompanied by our teen-aged daughter. Nancy did warn us that space would be tight for four adults. It was a bit tight and it would have been ideal for two, but realistically we spent only a few waking hours daily in the condo since there was so much to do outside. Our daughters commandeered the bedroom and my husband and I slept on the living room pull-out couch. We were perfectly comfortable for the four nights. We fixed the pull-out couch every morning for more room to maneuver. My husband worked remotely during vacation and we were grateful for the strong wifi as he worked on his laptop and our daughters watched their favorite YouTube channels. I loved morning beach walks nearby and grabbing coffee at Bad Ass Coffee a block away. We stocked up with snacks at the supermarket within walking distance and the even closer ABC Store. Duke's for lunch nearby was also wonderful with the beach view. It can get warm inside without air conditioning but I understand as of now no units in the complex are allowed AC units. We kept the two fans on and the floor to ceiling sliders partially open at night and were fine sleeping. The kitchen is a perfect size for light cooking but we realized at the end of the stay we'd forgotten to use it because of all the nearby food choices including for breakfast! (Not too ashamed to admit we drove a few minutes for McDonald's breakfast takeout on our last day and enjoyed our meal on the deck staring at the water and palm trees.) Thanks to Nancy and Jeff for being two gracious hosts."
