  • nciely updated unit in older building, good for a small group

"Our group of five enjoyed our stay at Kaanapali Royale. The unit is well equipped and nicely furnished. It is a bit of a walk to the beach but there are peek a boo views to the ocean from both upper and lower rooms. The pool is quite nice with trees for shade when it gets too hot. Light sleepers may not enjoy the downstairs bedroom which backs onto Honoapi'ilani Hwy. While we were there (late Sept), resurfacing of the parking lot was a little disruptive - this happened same time last year and was noted in the unit's guest book - something to ask about if you plan a visit at this time, especially if you have someone along who has trouble walking any distance. BTW, $75 parking fee was only time we've ever had to pay for parking in Hawaii in 30 years of visits here, including at Kapalua and Wailea. Glenn responded promptly to an issue upon check-in - we appreciated this. We enjoyed Kaanapali and Kapalua beaches, easy hike along Kapalua coast to Fleming Beach, 'weekend warrior' golfing at Kapalua, breakfasts/lunches at Plantation House (Kapalua - much more reasonable than you'd think) as well as dinner at Lahaina Grill. We had a yummy take out dinner from Honokawai Okazuya and a really decent lunch at the Honolua General Store on the Kapalua grounds."

  • The best experience possible

"Aloha, This was our first time renting accommodations other than hotels. I was wary of the unknown but in this case I struck gold. To begin with, I couldn't have asked for better people to deal with than the owners, Cheryl and Cecil. They were very friendly and never once did I feel like I was bothering them with the many questions I had. The condo was just incredible. It was clean, elegantly decorated, and spacious enough for my wife, myself and our two teenage daughters. The full size kitchen allowed us to have the convenience of preparing meals or snacks when we didn't want to dine out.The beds were comfortable including the pull out sofa. The upstairs shower was so cool with the turtle tiled on the wall. But what will stay in my mind forever is the view. I would get up early in the morning, draw open the curtains in the upstairs bedroom, walk onto the lanai and just stare in awe at the palm trees, blue skies, mountains in the background and the ocean in the not too far distance off to the left. We were never far from anything. A leisurely walk to the beach and the boardwalk, or a short drive to restaurants, shopping and different places to snorkel and sunbathe. We had the best experience possible, a dream vacation in the comfort of our own home. Mahalo once again Cheryl and Cecil for giving us the opportunity to share your place in paradise."

  • Great place in a great location with wonderful views

"We really enjoyed our stay at this spacious condo, located right on the fairway of Kaanapali Golf Course. It is just a short walk to the shopping, restaurants, and activities on Kaanapali Beach, and the views from the lanai at sunset are spectacular!"

  • Pure Enjoyment

"The home felt very cozy and made you feel like you where at your own place. Very close to many shops, golf courses, and attractions. It was very clean and well maintained. This allowed us to enjoy our stay without worry of our accommodations. Thank you Fred and Luba!"
