  • Exactly as Described, GREAT VACATION!

"My husband and I just spent out 10th Anniversary here and it was exactly what we expected. We researched condos, read descriptions and reviews and we decided on this condo based on our research and so many positive reviews. It was clean, and perfect for two people. We were so close to the water, it almost felt like we were on a boat when we were inside and looking out the window. Having air conditioning was a huge bonus for us. I would have my morning coffee and watch the crabs crawl along the rocks against the sea wall and we would had dinner several evenings at the table overlooking the sunset against the ocean. The snorkel gear and beach chairs, umbrella and small cooler were all very handy. We really enjoyed our stay at this condo and would recommend it to anybody who wants to be, quite literally, on the water."

  • Terrific Location & Views

"This unit was perfect for my wife, our 18 month daughter and I. I don't think you can get any closer to the water unless you're standing in it. The unit amenities (especially the outdoor private deck) were terrific and allowed our daughter a safe place to play while not at the beach. It was well stocked, had nice functional amenities and was quiet (aside from the waves). The location is very close to stores, coffee, other resorts, etc. which we found very helpful as we walked the majority of our stay. The unit description met our expectation if not exceeded it. Check in, customer service etc. was terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would stay in the unit again. The overall building was a little bit tired but once in the unit, any topical issues were quickly forgotten."

  • Maui Kai 905 is fantastic

"The Maui Kai is a very comfortable, low-key condo building with about 75 units. Great location right on the beach. Easy walking distance to farmer's market, grocery store, great dining and shopping sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unit 905 is a one-bedroom condo on the 9th floor, beautifully decorated with a lot of local hand-crafted artwork. Very up-to-date and well-equipped kitchen. They even have a conch shell so we could join in the sunset chorus every evening. Very comfortable with a fantastic view. We loved the views of the ocean and the sound of the waves. We booked through the owners who were very prompt in all our communications and very considerate in helping us schedule our visit. They were a real pleasure to work with. We recommend unit 905 very highly and hope to stay there again soon."

  • Good stay

"This property was clean and well maintained. I felt a little disappointed upon arrival because I thought I was staying in a little cottage. I'm sure it was my fault and I didn't read good enough. It is a very dated resort but the room was very updated and clean! The place was not as immaculate as the pictures but it was still pretty nice! Snorkel gear and a boogy board were provided which was great! If your a person who likes to have a very cool room this unit is not for you. We like to sleep with the air atleast 70 degrees. On our arrival the AC was not turned on and it was extremely hot inside. I was upset because it should have been turned on prior to our arrival, it took a very long time to cool down. The air condition could not keep up with the room and when set on 70 it ran the whole 5 days we stayed. I told the front desk a few times but they never said anything so I assumed it was normal. It was very hot the whole time. If your a person who liked privacy it is a bit uncomfortable having a camera on the balcony because it feels like a violation of privacy. The view was amazing!! Not a beach front which is clearly stated in the description but the beach is just feet away from the Maui Kai. However it is a ocean front and is beautiful! Over all we had a very good stay, staff was very friendly and willing to answer any questions! We would stay again if the air condition was a little cooler."
