  • Terrific!

"Our stay was great. The condo was unusually large for the area, very comfortable for a couple and a teenager. The unit is very near the lobby and parking lot for easy access to services and our rental car. It was comfortably appointed with a wonderful view of the ocean from various rooms and the lanai. We've stayed often at the Eldorado but never had so many amenities and so much storage room provided by the owners! We love staying at the Eldorado due to the beautiful but quiet beach with prime swimming and snorkeling off Black Rock as well as walking distance to area restaurants, services, and easy free shuttle service to a major shopping and entertainment center, Whaler's Village. All we had to bring was food and our clothes. Thanks so much Barbara for sharing your property with us."

  • A TRULY WONDERFUL MONTH IN MAUI

"we spent the month of January, 2016, in unit 546, HOKULANI BUILDING at HONUA KAI CONDO RESORT. there were two of us, my husband and myself, for most of the month with a 5 day visit from my daughter and a 6 day visit from my husband's son. since i am a clean-nut, i can honestly report that this unit was in mint condition and obviously cleaned from top to bottom prior to our arrival. Michelle is the Manager/Contact on the Island and represents the owner who lives on the "mainland." i cannot sing the praises of michelle highly enough. we had the unit cleaned 3 times during the month and michelle took care of all the details involved in having that done. she is competent, capable and attentive. i can't imagine the owner doing a better job. michelle took care of any and all concerns in a very responsible and timely fashion (and there weren't that many but stilll, was great to know we had someone we could depend on). the unit itself is lovely. the lanai (balcony) is the perfect size with a lovely dining table and 4 chairs. there are two additional chairs with footstools for relaxing. and, relax we did. the view is fabulous and since we were there during whale watching season, the amazing ocean view afforded us fabulous views of breaching whales. from the other end of the balcony, we looked out at the beginnings of the mountains and were fortunate enough , one morning, to have a view of the most vibrant rainbow we've ever seen. the bedrooms are comfortable, the closets adequate (i did have to buy more hangers but that's because i over-packed), the bathrooms are large with a glass enclosed shower and a separate soaking tub. there are double sinks and marble counters and toilet is in a small enclosed area with a door to create privacy. i loved having a supermarket, pharmacy and fresh fish market nearby. came in handy for the meals we chose to have "at home." i would have preferred a gas stove but it didn't take that long for me to get used to electric. the resort amenities are fabulous-from the 4 pools to the gym to the walkable grounds with all the paths, foliag, flowers and easily accessible beach. don't miss Duke's Beach House, the restaurant at the foot of resort by the beach. good food, good service and a great place to watch the sun set while sipping a Margarita. to sum it up, we can't wait to return and hope Unit 546 is available for our next visit to paradise!"

  • Location, Location, Location

"We have just spent 4 relaxing nights at the Whaler at Kanapaali, our ground floor apartment #114 was perfect for our requirements (ground floor was the draw card with us). Yes the wallpaper is peeling a little, but it was clean and tidy, and having a well equiped kitchen was a treat. We loved being so close to the beach, and we made good use of the BBQ area after being on the road for 4 weeks. We organised the bookings & payment from Australia with no problems, thank you Larry for making our time in Maui so enjoyable."

  • Mahana 316 - perfection

"If you're hoping to find the perfect place to stay in Maui, you can stop your search here. You're not going to find a better place. The unit itself - Mahana 316 - is perfect. It has everything you need - just for example, the kitchen is fully loaded, there are beach chairs available, the ability to DVR shows on TV, and much, much more. The view is perfect as well. It's low enough to really hear and take in the ocean, but high enough to give you privacy. The tops of the palm trees are above you, so they don't block your view of Lanai, Molokai and the amazing sunsets. The owners are fantastic as well - very responsive. The entire complex is clean, and the pool is nice, well-kept and provides a great view of the ocean as well. It's a quiet location, but you can still easily walk to places like Duke's Beach House, Slappy Cakes, Times Grocery Store, Subway and other places to eat. So, you should stop your search now - we highly recommend you stay here."
