  • Mahana 316 - perfection

"If you're hoping to find the perfect place to stay in Maui, you can stop your search here. You're not going to find a better place. The unit itself - Mahana 316 - is perfect. It has everything you need - just for example, the kitchen is fully loaded, there are beach chairs available, the ability to DVR shows on TV, and much, much more. The view is perfect as well. It's low enough to really hear and take in the ocean, but high enough to give you privacy. The tops of the palm trees are above you, so they don't block your view of Lanai, Molokai and the amazing sunsets. The owners are fantastic as well - very responsive. The entire complex is clean, and the pool is nice, well-kept and provides a great view of the ocean as well. It's a quiet location, but you can still easily walk to places like Duke's Beach House, Slappy Cakes, Times Grocery Store, Subway and other places to eat. So, you should stop your search now - we highly recommend you stay here."

  • Wonderful Condo - Exceptional view

"This is one of many stays for us in Maui and the 4th at the Whaler but our first in this unit. This one was wonderful. So much room and nicely decorated with all the comforts of home. The view was perfect and we loved all the amenities the unit had for us to use. We will definitely be back."

  • Amazing!

"The condo unit is beautiful, comfortable and ideally located for a Hawaiian getaway for us mainlanders. The views are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed grilling fish at the condo and watching the sunset as we ate dinner on the lanai. The beach is a 10 minute walk or a quick cart ride. The condo has all the beach accessories and beach has towel service, so you are set for a day on the beach. The ocean is rough and there wasn't a lifeguard, so I would caution those with littler children to watch them carefully near the water. Our kids love pools, so we tried all three pools on the property. The pools hidden on the other side of the complex are small and cozy. The pool over the garage unit is a little barren and run down, but totally functional and great for our louder young child. The property is next to all the great places to eat and shop, they even have a free trolley service around Kaanapali. I can't say enough good things about the property. I would definitely watch out for the concierge who tries to sell you tickets to activities around town. We ended up looking online and getting those same activities at 25-50 percent cheaper. I made a complaint and got a refund. I recommend the Hyatt Luau, quicksilver snorkeling and submarine ride. They were all well worth the online price! Thanks for a wonderful stay and we hope to come back soon!"

  • Beautiful place

"The unit is beautiful, very specious, and very clean, and modern. The view from balcony is incredible and the balcony is very private. It is a short walk to the beach and to Whalers Village. The large pool was unfortunately under construction and the two other pools are very small, that was the only thing we missed. But we loved our stay and would definitely recommend this unit. We also to plan to come back."
