  • Wonderful condo in Maui!!

"This property was perfect for our first family visit to Maui. Great location, unbeatable views and well kept in every way. The condo furniture, beds and fully stocked kitchen gave us all the comforts of home. The closet of goodies (beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, golf putters, etc) was extra special. We did have a mixup at check-in but Kathleen and Dom handled everything well and took care of our needs quickly. Thank you!"

  • Perfect Condo with the best view ever

"I've stayed at the Whaler since I was a teenager. My parents used to own a unit on the 7th floor and I thought that was the best view until I stayed here. It's incredible and looks just like the pictures even better. Sleeping to the calming sound of the ocean with our sliding doors open is so soothing. There are so many beautiful birds to hear in the morning, I'm so at peace. This unit is just high enough to hear the music from the Hula Grill where it's just right. To me this condo gets the very best views as its on the.sunny side of the Whaler to view the Pacific Ocean and Kaanapali Beach. The owner Judy was very personable and answered my questions quickly. It all went very smoothly and we had a fantastic trip! Even though the construction was going on in the lobby and part of Whaler's Village, we still frequented our favorite stores and restaurants. I highly recommend the Ahi Tacos at the Hula Grill. When Whalers Village is complete (Soon) it will be top-notch! We would love to stay here again and it being on the 11th floor helped me get my exercise in each day!"

  • Excellent Property

"We loved the Marriott Ocean Club property, and there is so much to walk to. Wife and I took our teenage son so we got a 1 BR Villa oceanfront in Lahaina tower. The furnishing are beautiful and the view was outstanding. The reason for only 4 stars was just a couple minor things. The balconies are pretty small and crowded with the patio furniture; we asked housekeeping to make up the sofa sleeper but they didn't and the second time just dropped off the bedding..took a third trip to have it done; parking spots are pretty small unless you have a tiny car. Overall, we had a great time there. Dr. Vic came thru with everything he promised and was great to work with."

  • Home away from Home

"Our stay in this home was so wonderful we can't wait to return! When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at all extras the home had. You just don't get that when you rent a condo. Basic condiments, soft drinks, a few adult beverages, water bottles as well as nice selection of toiletries and sunscreen were available for our use. We brought ours from home, but did end up using the baby sun block the last couple of days for my scalp. I have rented many homes on VRBO and loved the owners choice to have people leave things behind for the next renters to use instead of stripping the fridge of all the unused items. This saved us money, and we in turn paid it forward for the next occupants. I recommend dropping your luggage at the house to see what is there for you before heading to the grocery store. We had a minor issue with a clogged drain in the kitchen disposal, but the island contact was very easily reached by telephone. We enjoyed the use of the boogie boards in the outdoor closet as well as the beach chair. We left a new beach mat behind for others to use, as the one in the closet looked well loved. There are kids sand toys (which we didn't need) as well as a water noodle. We found a snorkel mask in the closet as well, but we did not locate any other gear to go with it, so we rented at Snorkel Bobs. There are plenty of towels for both the beach and showering, so save space and leave yours at home. The beds were fairly comfortable, but the pillows were a little hard for my liking. On the last day we realized there was an extra soft one in the 2nd bedroom closet. Both rooms have king beds, as well as a roll away and sofa sleeper which we did need as there were only 3 of us. I found the washer and dryer to be so useful and was so glad I brought a few laundry tabs from home. Next time I wont pack as much and just wash it. The house did not have a land line - Not a big deal since most people have cell phones, but just thought I would pass this piece of info along. It was so quiet and peaceful here. We really enjoyed having the home away from home feel. Thank you so much for sharing your home with others. Jodie, Ken and Hailey Chrisman"
