"We celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary in Maui. The condo was the perfect spot! Everything that could possibly be provided including binoculars was there! Clean, neat, easy to find, parking...totally awesome. The beach is rocky and not suitable for swimming, but a short walk down the path it's great! We'll be back for sure, no doubt. I highly recommend the unit and Sandy was the perfect host. Rick Cooper Fort Worth, Texas"

  • Great View, Great Condo

"Well furnished, easy to unpack due to walk in closet with drawers and shelves. Well equipped kitchen. Quality appliances. Bed was very comfortable, nice soft pillows. It was a working vacation so the desk was perfect. Loved hearing the waves at night and the view of the ocean and black rock. Nice staff at the Whaler. Would book this unit again."

  • Wonderful Stay

"Excellent condo. So convenient to everything. Within walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Kaanapali Shores itself exceeded my expectations as the staff were friendly and helpful. The onsite concierge service is useful and they have great suggestions and can book anything for you after you arrive. Beautiful view of the ocean (sunsets are unbelievable). The view of Maui mountains when you exit the condo are breathtaking. I stopped every time to have a look. I brought a book and couldn't read a word as my eyes never left the view. The condo is well maintained a fully stocked with all that you need. It was comfortable and relaxing for myself and my family. A definitely recommend a trip to Haleakala (if you can't do the sunrise don't worry about ....I didn't and was overwhelmed with the beauty and the trip up to the summit during the day). I also recommend taking a trip to the blow hole north of Kapalua. Totally worth it. Great snorkeling at Honolua Bay, just past Kapalua. Parking for Honolua Bay is on the side of the road with limited parking spots, but you can usually pull in safely. Would definitely book this condo again if I am ever lucky enough to return to paradise someday."

  • Fantastic stay- GREAT condo

"What a find! Having grown up in the islands, Kaanapali has always been my favorite part of Maui and up until now, we have usually stayed at one of the hotels in the area. This was our first time in a vacation condo and the experience could not have been better thanks to its prime location, spacious accommodations and great upkeep. The place looks like it was recently and thoroughly renovated and the bedrooms and bathrooms are huge yet comfortable. Every room has direct access to the large lanai with its sweeping view of the golf courses, the ocean and the island of Molokai. We loved the nearby cabana, equipped with a kitchen, where we lounged beachside. There are several pools on the property to choose from and a fun variety of restaurants within walking or easy driving distances. From premises to provisions, the couple who owns this condo does a first-rate job. Alan is attentive with one of the most thorough welcome packets I have ever seen. A very minor maintenance issue was taken care of immediately. It is clear that he and his wife take loving and constant care of their condo. We will definitely seek out this particular unit again the next time we visit Maui."
