  • Impressive view with privacy...perfect for couple

"Our stay in Marianne's condo was ideal. The location was great, and besides the outstanding view, the lanai had a feeling of privacy. The decor and layout of the furnishings were lovely. Very clean and updated. We felt so comfortable, like we could be at home. Everything we needed was available and easy to find. Comparing the condo to a hotel room, I'd say it's 1000 times better! This was a fabulous find, and we are eager to return. Mahalo Marianne!"

  • Beautiful Resort, great condo, kind & responsive owner

"We just returned from our stay at this beautiful resort in June. The Honua Kai resort is right on the beach and the grounds are beautiful, multiple winding pools, lush landscaping, tall palm trees. Duke's restaurant is on site and a great place to eat and enjoy the sunsets. At night, they light tiki torches so the environment is really very cool. There is a long winding boardwalk next to the beach, where at night you can stroll for miles from one resort to the other. The owner clearly stated in her description that there is construction going on next to the resort, which is true. The patio off the unit faces it. While you can't really hear it, you can see it and it creates a soft layer of dust on the patio. We got used to it pretty quick. The condo itself more than made up for it, plus the owner offered the unit at a discount. A similar unit not facing the construction was hundreds of dollars more a night. We spend most of the time at the pool, at the beach or crusing around the island. So by the time we got back to the condo, work had ended. The condo itself is beautiful. It is very well decorated and the furniture is upscale. Plenty of room for a family of 4 with TV's in the living room and both bedrooms. Also having very nice bathrooms in each of the bedrooms was great. You will really like the resort, the location, the landscaping and the beach. Aloha."

  • Great condo for a large family!

"We recently stayed in this condo in June 2016. We had 8 people in our party and it was perfect! Accommodations were spacious, clean and kitchen cookware/bakeware/untensils were well stocked. Close to everything on Kaanapali Beach - Whaler's Village, restaurants, beach, Black Rock all within a few steps - just to name a few. A couple of minor things: We were short on bath towels so the ladies had to use the pool towels for their hair towels. (No big deal though) There were no BBQ utensils in the unit. Fortunately, we were able to borrow some from a kind soul in a unit near the BBQ area. I reserved this unit nearly a year in advance and was in contact with the owner over the year. They were quick to respond and answered all of my questions before I arrived. We will definitely rent this unit again for a large group trip!"
