  • Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!!!!!!

"I wanted to extend a huge thank you to the Colman family for having such an amazing and beautiful home. There are so many things to say it is hard to put them all down so thought we would just pick a few  The location is perfect and easy to get to just north of Lahaina. The kitchen is amazing with just about everything you would need. The living room is just as stocked with games, video, TV, etc., but the real treat is the amazing views of the ocean and Molokai in the distance you get from both the spacious patios (one off the master and one off the living room). Plenty of parking and there is easy access to beach in front of the property. There are multiple grills on property ALL close by and easy access. A few days my wife and I just purchased some Ono at the Fish Market Maui (2 miles down the road) and brought it back to grill and watch the ocean. It is so relaxing!!!! This place is AMAZING and we will be going back again for sure!"

  • Memorable experience in paradise!

"This charming condo with incredible views is in the perfect location! It's very peaceful and quiet but close enough to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed meals on the lanai watching a family of sea turtles and whales in the distance. We feel very fortunate to also see a pod of dolphins swim past the lanai. It was such a relaxing environment, furnished with all you need and very clean. One of the prior guests also left a cd along with a list of tips that you could use on the road to Hana. We picked up a picnic lunch at CJ's Deli to take with us on the road trip. CJ's was just a few minutes away and they provide a cooler to use during your visit along with complementary ice. Napoli Bay just north of the condo is a beautiful spot for swimming. We appreciate the welcome basket and great tips from Michell & Blair! Michell was also very helpful and easy to work with. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your condo! We highly recommend and hope to visit again!"

  • Large Beautiful Place

"I needed a place to stay for myself and my crew for a job in Lahaina, and this was perfect. This condo is huge with a large lanai overlooking the ocean. The price is very competitive with what is available. I did not get to really enjoy my time there, but it was nice coming home to such luxury. I would definitely recommend this place."

  • A week wasn't enough!

"The week we spent in this unit at the Royal Kahana flew by and we were sad to leave. We have been coming to Maui since our honeymoon there forty years ago. We have stayed at other places on Maui, both hotels and condos, including the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua, but none were as spacious or had the beautiful 180 degree view we had on this trip! One morning, while having coffee on the large lanai, we saw a double rainbow and every evening there was a sunset like you see in all of the travel magazines! The amount of room in this unit was incredible even with four people staying in it! There was a powder room for guests or children. During our week, we invited friends over for dinner (twice) and it never felt crowded. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bar/counter over looking the kitchen provided a convenient place to lay out pupus and drinks while guests watched what was cooking. It felt like home. The Royal Kahana has the usual resort amenities like a pool, workout room, tennis courts (not in use at the time) and a poolside coffee stand. For the disabled, there are ramps and elevators. There is also plenty of parking with designated handicapped spaces near the front doors. The staff we met were friendly and showed their aloha spirit. The only down side to the trip was there wasn't a sandy beach due to the geological shifting of the sand which has affected many of the West Maui beaches due to winter storms. Walking within two blocks are the Maui Brewing Company pub great for lunch and dinner; a Whaler's General Store which has the usual sundries and a deli that sells poke'; a MacDonald's for the kids (Spam and rice for breakfast anyone?) and the Hawaiian Village Coffee which opens at 5:30 a.m. and has good coffee and assorted goodies. A short drive up the highway past Napili up to Kapalua will take you to Merriman's and to Sansei Sushi. And, if you don't mind waiting in line, try The Gazebo for breakfast which overlooks Napili's lagoon. All are unique in their own way. We recommend checking out the Royal Kahana. It would be hard for us to return to Maui and not stay in this exact same unit! The owner, Tim O'Conner, was very helpful when we were planning our trip and was attentive to any questions about the property once we were there. Mahalo, Tim, for our best trip to Maui."
