  • Can't go wrong!

"We stayed at condo #807 for a week, May 18-25, 2016 and it was fantastic. Dolores is very kind and helpful. Basic bathroom and kitchen amenities but everything you could need. Big comfy bed which is right next to the lanai so we slept with the door open every night and listened to the waves. The lanai is AMAZING. Plenty of room for 2 and just above the palm trees so you have a 180 degree unobstructed view (can see all of Molokai and most of Lanai'i). The front door has a screen door too that locks, so much of the time while we were in the condo we left the front door open (with the screen door locked at night) and the lanai door open which created a nice funnel through the condo. The trades were blowing pretty much constantly so we had a nice cool room to sleep in every night. Only one downside to our trip: The beach was eroded quite a bit this year and as a result the grass/beach on our property was unusable the entire time. It was a bit noisy as they had a back hoe working all day moving around huge sandbags; this all started the day we arrived so we could not use that half of the property. Luckily the beach runs from Valley Isle south for about 500 yards and its perfect! Great for swimming/snorkeling/paddleboarding. We also saw a TON of turtles. If we were on the first few floors it would have been a nightmare, but for us a minor inconvenience.... Construction supposed to last 3 weeks. We would definitely recommend this unit. Great location, great unit, great owner. We will definitely be going back!"

  • WOW!!!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our unit was ideal for our purposes. My son and I were on Maui for a wedding celebration and I wanted an ocean view. The unit (different complex) we had arranged for did not come w/a view. As a walk-in at Hololani I was treated to a very enjoyable staff, willing to work with my request and an owner that was equally honorable in working with me. The unit itself was sparkling clean. The views outstanding and one solid benefit? While we knew the sun was sparkling off the crystal blue waters our unit was not bathed in that same sunlight thus making our deck a truly enjoyable place for afternoon wine/cheese and evening entertaining a few guests. It was ideal!!! Thank you to the owners. Our stay was one for the memory books."

  • Very Comfortable. No Beach but Excellent View!

"Our one week stay at Royal Kahana passed far too quickly. We stayed in Room 1002 and enjoyed most breakfasts on the lanai watching the whales. We chose to stay at a condo with a kitchen so that we could make our own meals. You have a microwave that looks new, but that could partly be due to the fact that you have no containers in which to cook any food. The same can be said for the unused interior of your oven, as there are no containers in which to bake or roast any food. You have a generous selection of knives, but some basic kitchen utensils that most cooks would have in their kitchen would also include a vegetable peeler, spatula, whisk, scissors, a wooden spoon for your nonstick cookware, and some mixing bowls would be handy (I mixed our pancake batter in one of your cooking pots). Which reminds me, your back left burner on the stove is not useable due the degree that the coils are bent upward. The bachelor suite suited our needs and we managed fine with the limited counter space. However, since the bed is part of the main living space the box spring should be concealed with a bed skirt rather than encased in a paper cloth that is loose and ripped. By the way, perhaps you should consider replacing the worn boxspring. Despite this, we had a good nights sleep every night except during the tropical storm. That was an amazing and memorable experience for us."
