  • Great location - and oh what a view

"We stayed for a wonderful 5 nights while racing Xterra. It was a terrific experience. The condo was perfect and Diane at Ridge Realty made the process seamless. The unit is at the top of the hill so has majestic views of Molokai and Honolua and is well outfitted for our stay. Make sure you take the path through the property and head down to the cove below the villas for a snorkel - majestic!"

  • Relaxing retreat

"We planned this trip 10 months ago with the intent of staying in a highly amenitized 2 bedroom condo in Kapalua. We invited our daughter and son-in-law to join us on this well deserved vacation. I'm a big fan of vrbo and we typically make our lodging decisions based on feedback from previous occupants. Our decesion to select this Kapalua Villa was an easy choice. The owners of this property were delightful to work with prior to arrival. We arrived late in the evening and upon entering the condo we were blown away by the warm beauty of this unit. We chose to turn on all of the room air conditioning units during our first night. After opening all of the windows on day one we chose to spend the rest of our stay with the ac off while enjoying the sound of the surf and strong cool trade winds throughout the condo. The condo was well stocked with everything required to meet our, bathroom and beach chairs/ umbrellas. The furniture decor was 1st class-Asian themed cabinetry. Tv's and Internet in every room.Great for watching college football and a DVR for those of us who like to record and watch shows. By far the best room in this condo for us was the lanai. We spent most of our time out on the lanai enjoying the view of Molokai and the Pacific Ocean- morning, noon and night. We chose to eat most of our breakfast and lunches in the condo in addition to half of our dinners. We found that eating in was just as romantic as eating out. I'm a big user of VBRO and would highly recommend this unit."

  • Great Condo, Wonderful Ocean Views

"This condo is the best property I have ever rented through VRBO and I have rented a lot of properties through VRBO over the years, both in the US and abroad. The views from this condo are spectacular and you notice them the second you walk in. The condo is set up so that it can be easily shared since both bedrooms have their own bathroom; and then there is the 3rd bathroom. The living area is open and very spacious. This condo is even better than it is described. It also comes furnished with beach chairs, snorkel equipment, boogies boards, coolers and lots of toys for kids to play in the sand. Best of all, this condo was reasonably priced for what you get. Kapalua is a wonderful area of Maui to stay. We stayed in Kapalua for a conference at the Ritz-Carlton and found that it was an easy walk over there. If and when I return to Maui, I will definitely try to rent this condo again. Staying in this condo really made our trip very enjoyable."

  • Great unit and view

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really pleased with the unit we rented. The view was great, from Molokai to Lipoa Point; the only downside of a north view, of course, was the lack of any sunset view at all. The unit was in very good condition; the bed, although it creaked alarmingly whenever we got into it, proved surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen was very functional, though missing some pans and utensils that would have been helpful (lids for pans, etc.). One downside was that the nearest gas grill was two roads away, downhill; the grill worked very well and was in excellent condition, but that's a long hike back up the stairs with food cooling on a plate. The bathrooms were clean and functional, and having a washer and dryer was a real help. The Internet and TV worked fine, and it was handy to have Netflix and Amazon built-in to the TV, but a DVD player would have been useful. The pool we used was in great shape. The resort shuttle was a great help in getting to the beaches and local restaurants, especially given the limited beach parking, though their estimates of the time before pick-up were very variable; "be there in 10-15 minutes" turned out to be "already waiting outside" once but a 50 minute wait on another occasion. Having beach chairs, coolers, an umbrella and snorkel gear provided was a great bonus!"
