  • Very Nice Condo

"I've stayed at Aina Nalu in the past, in one of the upper level, two bedroom units, and I must say that I liked this unit much better. It is a lower level, one bedroom unit in a small building near the front of the property, basically a four plex. It was much quieter than the larger units, and we had much more privacy. The unit itself is nicely furnished and very clean. It has everything you could need for a brief stay. The king size bed was very comfortable, with high quality linens throughout. The bathroom was spacious, and it is so nice to have a washer/dryer right in the unit for keeping up with laundry. There was an abundance of towels, making it nice for a longer stay. Everything worked well for us, including AC, appliances, and entertainment features. The unit is very well maintained, and the furnishings seem relatively new and in good condition. Aina Nalu itself is in a very convenient location, within an easy walk to shops and restaurants in Lahaina, and an easy drive to other locations. There are two pools in this complex, a small pool and a larger pool, both close enough to this unit to make it a quick walk, but far enough away so that you aren't bothered by the noise of people using the pool late at night. There is plenty of parking, but you will need to pay $20 per day to park in the complex. There is a cheaper parking lot across the street for only $10 per day, but we liked the safety and convenience of having our car right out front of our unit. We spent two nights on Lanai, and it was nice to know that the car was safe while we were gone. The owners of this condo were very responsive to all of our questions. They kept us informed of issues going on while we were there (e.g. a fire alarm test), and made sure that our every need was being met. We will definitely use this same unit in the future."

  • What a location!

"The location of this property could not have been better, if I had known Lahaina. Two blocks from the Hwy, 3 - 4 blocks from a grocery store and 3 blocks to downtown. The unit itself was stocked exactly as noted in the description. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was really clean. It was so nice to have beach chairs and towels available for our use. The kitchen was small as expected, but the pots, pans and dishes were all very nice and easy to clean. Having those cold washcloths in the refrigerator really was a special touch. Check out Serendipity in downtown Lahaina - they have great Hawaii designed clothes. Cheeseburger in Paradise has great food and a nice view of the harbor from the 2nd floor. I would stay here again."

  • Great for families!

"We loved our five days at John's condo. It is very comfortable with all the helpful amenities, including great A/C, wireless interness, washer/dryer, kitchen appliances, beach towels and toys. It is a short walk from both pools, which was super for our young boys. The grounds are pristine. Parking was generally available on the street to avoid the $20/day cost. Front Street, with its historic seaside charm, fun restaurants and shops, is two blocks away. John answered our questions quickly prior to arrival and checked in with us shortly after arriving to ensure that all was well. We'd return in a heartbeat!"

  • Excellent

"My husband, two daughters and I stayed in this unit for our first trip to Maui. This great resort, Aina Nalu, and the fun, historic town of Lahaina are reasons to come back to this very spot. This unit was clean, bright, easy to access and an excellent place to set off for the day's adventures or just relax. The fluffy towels and other amenities were little luxuries that made a big difference. Thanks a lot for sharing this special place with travelers like us. We'd love to come back one day. * The Mahi Mahi at Lulu's on the edge of town is excellent! *"
