  • Beyond words.....

"For the past two weeks I have felt like I have been in a "Corona commercial"...... only better! The location and view is indescribably superb. In my mind's eye, what a wonderful vision to take home and go to as needed. Thank you, Jack"

  • Truly Spectacular Views!

"My husband and I spent one month at Lahaina Roads. We thought the location was great – a 5 minute walk to the Cannery Mall which included a Safeway store; a 20 minute walk south to the business area of Front Street (numerous restaurants and shops); a 40 minute walk north to Whalers Village. Every night the tiki torches were lit around the pool and by the bbq area. Parking was free and in a covered area. The biggest plus was being directly ocean front! Vida was great to deal with. She promptly responded to email and she straightaway handled the couple of issues we encountered. The unit was clean and perfect for our stay – The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, and dish soap and dishwasher soap were included; The bathroom was great – a large walk-in shower, a huge vanity top, and lots of towels; The bedroom had a comfortable king-size bed with a night table, a dresser, and lots of closet space. The bedroom does face Front St., so there is some noise – occasional traffic and roosters being the main culprits. There is an AC unit in the bedroom, but we preferred leaving the windows open and letting the trade winds blow through; The biggest plus was the lanai…directly ocean front. We spent countless hours on the lanai: every morning drinking our coffee and eating local fruit, during the day watching all the turtle-feeding action and the daily whale action (numerous blows, tail slaps, and breaches), and in the evening viewing the amazing sunset and eating our dinner. My only recommendation would be more comfortable lanai furniture since I am sure we are not the only ones who spend so much time mesmerised by the ocean-front action. There were so many positives for this unit that I have probably forgot some, but know it is truly a great vacation property and unit. …We highly recommend it if staying in the Lahaina area and hope to return one day. Thank you Vida!"

  • What a great stay!

"My husband and I were in Maui for his son's wedding. We decided to rent a place in the same building where they were staying so we found this place through VRBO at Lahaina Roads. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our four-day (too short) stay. I'm really picky about bed comfort, but this king was great...just the right softness. The decor isn't exactly like the pictures. The furniture is newer, I think. The couch seemed brand new. It's on the second floor, which is right above the parking garage. You'd think that would be a problem, but this place seemed to be all about the quiet. No one ever came or went during sleeping hours, that I was aware of. The grounds are kept nicely. It's half grass and half pool, and then the ocean. This condo is on the edge of the grass that is next to the pool. I think it's a nice location. You could throw a rock to the ocean, but why would you because you might hit one of the 10 or so turtles that are constantly swimming just off shore. When I texted Hedy to let her know we had arrived, she texted me back in about a minute and told me to text her if I needed anything. The waves breaking outside created such a nice sound for sleeping. I read that another reviewer complained about the noise on Front Street. There is noise on Front Street, occationally, but only because some people chose to drive by with their bass thumping in their stereos. It's not located RIGHT in the touristy area of Lahaina, so it's not THAT loud. What's great about the location is that you can get in your car (or walk if you're not as lazy as we are) and drive right to a Safeway (grocery story) or Longs (drug store) in about a minute, or drive to the Banyan Tree/Cheeseburger in Paradise area in about two minutes. If you're looking for a nice, little place at a great price, close to local attractions, cleanliness, and the soothing sound of ocean waves, we can highly recommend this condo. Aloha!"

  • A wonderful retreat with a great ocean view and sounds of the surf

"We spent ten days enjoying Nick's condo...it had almost everything we needed for our stay, the unit has comfortable furnishings, and what a view! There's no better way to experience Maui than sitting on the lanai soaking in the ocean sounds and sights. The pool is great, and your sunset view includes Lanai, Molokai, and a distant Oahu. Nick had warned us that demolition and reconstruction was in process, and there was some disturbance during the daytime, but we had a great time anyway. We hope to return and enjoy the unit again."
