  • This place was perfect!

"This cottage was perfect! After staying on the other side of the island for two weeks we were very happy to move to town. The cottage looked small from the outside but seemed spacious and very comfortable once inside. It was very clean and well maintained and decorated. We also appreciated that it was well equipped and even had a washer and dryer. The second bedroom has only a tub with a small shower attachment so we used the shower located off the master bedroom which also has access to the kitchen area. The back patio is perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Thanks to the previous reviews we were careful not to lock ourselves out at the back door. The location of this cottage is ideal, we were less than a block from shopping and restaurants! The parking in front of the house was an added bonus and much appreciated. We used Uber a couple of times and found them to be quick and reasonably priced. Leah was easy to work with and provided quick responses to my questions. We are looking forward to staying here next year!"

  • Amazing location for a great family vacation!

"We stayed for 1 week at this house with 7 adults and 1 child. The location cannot be beat! We had planned to eat at the house and only ended up eating there for one dinner because the location was so great for walking to a bunch of other places (eating and shopping). We only needed the car to get to/from the airport and to go ziplining. The house was well stocked and provided excellent quality linens and towels. There were plenty of paper goods and laundry soap as well. The bedrooms were large and accommodated our group perfectly. Having our own direct access to the beach was a highlight and we spent hours every day at the beach. I would definitely recommend this home to others and would not hesitate to rent it again ourselves. -- Make note that the driveway for the house is quite steep. No matter what angle I pulled in at, I couldn't help but scrape the rental minivan. Not at all a problem, but something to be aware of if you're not used to pulling up a steep driveway."

  • Beautiful Sunsets on the water

"Aloha, we just spent one beautiful and relaxing week here. Three couples, all avid travelers, getting away to relax. We all decided that Maui is one of the best places in the world and this is one fantastic home! We did the Marriott luau… Highly recommended. We also did the snorkeling tour on redline charters to Molokini and a number of other spots. Again, highly recommend it. Can't believe how many whales we saw… Both from a distance and up close. Great memories."

  • Amazing Vacation in a Spectacular Setting

"It would be hard to imagine a more beautiful setting than Lahaina Animal Farm. When we started looking for accommodations for our family of 7 (which included my husband, myself, our two sons, daughter-in-law and 2 grand kids, ages 3 and 11 months) I was unsure if we'd find anything that would fit the bill. After spending hours on VRBO I came upon Lahaina Animal Farm which looked amazing and thought would be the perfect choice having 2 young children. After reading all the 5 star reviews we came to the conclusion that this was the place for us. When renting on line you are always taking a risk but in this case the property exceeded our expectations. Arriving at the farm after a long plane ride (not to mention Costco) we were blown away. The 360 degree view of the islands along with surrounding mountains was incredible. Although we ventured out to the various beaches during the day the best part was coming back to "our" farmhouse. They had just built an infinity pool a few months before our arrival and we spent many evenings floating in the pool watching whales and sunsets. The horses and farm animals were beautiful and everyone loved the morning ritual of feeding the horses. Teresa (the farm owner) and Chris were so accommodating and could not have been friendlier. On our 2nd day they brought us fresh eggs, papayas and honey from the farm and if there was anything we needed they were more than happy to oblige. We highly recommend Leoda's Kitchen and Pie Shop 5 minutes south on the highway, casual, great for take out and breakfasts. Our only regret is that we couldn't have stayed longer. Thanks Teresa for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!!"
