  • Great place with everything you need.

"Fully equipped condo with lots of space for moving around. Bathroom downstairs and 2 other bathrooms upstairs with big bedrooms. 2 big balconys with views of the ocean thru the beautiful trees. We could see whale spouts from the living room couch. The walk to the beach is downhill on a somewhat steep road, (it was great exercise)! The only reason I would not give it a 5 star is the condo is dated and needs updating, but everything works. We had a wonderful family vacation."

  • Gorgeous View, Nice Location, Aging Property

"View: 10/10. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a huge balcony make it easy to enjoy the views of the sunset, breaching whales, and the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Unit Amenities: 8/10. The unit was adequately comfortable and adequately stocked. The mattresses on the beds were firm, which is the way we like them. It was nice to have the washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Property Amenities: 6/10. The building itself is pretty dated, and much of the property is either under construction or in a state of disrepair. The property also lacks some pretty basic amenities, such as a business center at which you can print your boarding passes for your return trip home. Also, the winter surf had eroded away the beach and rendered the lawn unusable -- which we'd anticipated at the time that we booked the trip and wasn't a huge deal, but which makes the property less desirable than the neighboring properties. On the bright side, the pool was *heated* to a very comfortable temperature, which we loved. Also, for a large complex, it was very quiet - which was great, as the 2nd bedroom abuts a walkway, which could've been really bad. Location: 8/10. We'd never stayed that far north on the island, and we really liked it. It was a close drive to the gorgeous Kaanapali beaches and Lahaina to the south, and to the gorgeous Napili and Kapalua beaches to the north. It's also a very short walk to a fairly well stocked mini market, Maui Brewing Company, and a few other restaurants. Overall Value: 7/10. Waterfront units on Maui are very expensive, particularly during high season. With the various fees and taxes, we paid about $530/night for this place for a high-season stay in February. That's probably within the market range for a 2-BR waterfront rental during high season -- and we're at peace with that decision and have no regrets. Even so, having been there, it's unlikely that we'd pay that much to stay there again."

  • Fantastic accommodation and location

"Our family of four spent a week here over Christmas. The unit is extremely well outfitted - particularly the kitchen, with every possible accessory and plenty of plates, glasses, etc. The resort is quiet, particularly compared to some of the larger facilities north and south. No need to race our and claim a long chair here. We enjoyed almost every meal on the expansive lanai. Decent snorkeling just north up the beach and a great paved walking "beach walk" path with runs both north and south through the resort. Very relaxing, clean and comfortable."

"Loved this place! Updated, bright and comfortable! My son and I stayed here, and felt at home. Easy access to parking and beach. One of the best beaches to relax on!"
