  • Perfect condo!

"We just got back from a wonderful vacation in Maui. This condo has the perfect location - ground floor, oceanfront!! The view is amazing from the patio or lawn. It's nice and quiet. We fell asleep to the sound of rolling waves every night! Didn't need the A/C at all. The kitchen is very well stocked. I would recommend this condo to anyone! Thank you Bonnie!"

  • First time, but definitely not our last

"We stayed in I109 and loved it. The condo is clean, in excellent condition and exceptionally well maintained. There are 2 swimming pools and the grounds are immaculate, with gardeners always working to maintain their beauty. Staying here was like being at home and did not have the feel of being in a hotel. With a well stocked kitchen we were able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast every morning. For lunch and dinner at times we ate in and at others times we ate out. Front St. is a leisurely 10 minute walk with lots of restaurants. The convenience of a washer and dryer in the condo was an added extra. The condo comes with beach chairs, umbrellas and a small cooler you can take to the beach. Needless to say we made great use of these items. A car is recommended if you want to explore Maui. Easy pick-up and return at the airport. If you can find parking on the street it is free. It is $20 per night to park on the condo grounds, a little less expensive to park in the lot across the street. Because of our circumstances, we opted to pay the $20 and park on the grounds. Even with no car, Front St. and many, many restaurants and shops are a short walk away. As recommended, by everyone we talked with, a stop at Costco and Walmart for provisions when you leave the airport is a must. Take your own bag into Walmart or you will be charged for a Walmart bag, as they do not provide free bags. Would we stay again? In a heartbeat! Looking forward to our next trip to Maui. Thank you very much, Rick and Lance. Or should we say: Mahalo nui loa, Rick and Lance"

  • A week wasn't enough!

"The week we spent in this unit at the Royal Kahana flew by and we were sad to leave. We have been coming to Maui since our honeymoon there forty years ago. We have stayed at other places on Maui, both hotels and condos, including the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua, but none were as spacious or had the beautiful 180 degree view we had on this trip! One morning, while having coffee on the large lanai, we saw a double rainbow and every evening there was a sunset like you see in all of the travel magazines! The amount of room in this unit was incredible even with four people staying in it! There was a powder room for guests or children. During our week, we invited friends over for dinner (twice) and it never felt crowded. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bar/counter over looking the kitchen provided a convenient place to lay out pupus and drinks while guests watched what was cooking. It felt like home. The Royal Kahana has the usual resort amenities like a pool, workout room, tennis courts (not in use at the time) and a poolside coffee stand. For the disabled, there are ramps and elevators. There is also plenty of parking with designated handicapped spaces near the front doors. The staff we met were friendly and showed their aloha spirit. The only down side to the trip was there wasn't a sandy beach due to the geological shifting of the sand which has affected many of the West Maui beaches due to winter storms. Walking within two blocks are the Maui Brewing Company pub great for lunch and dinner; a Whaler's General Store which has the usual sundries and a deli that sells poke'; a MacDonald's for the kids (Spam and rice for breakfast anyone?) and the Hawaiian Village Coffee which opens at 5:30 a.m. and has good coffee and assorted goodies. A short drive up the highway past Napili up to Kapalua will take you to Merriman's and to Sansei Sushi. And, if you don't mind waiting in line, try The Gazebo for breakfast which overlooks Napili's lagoon. All are unique in their own way. We recommend checking out the Royal Kahana. It would be hard for us to return to Maui and not stay in this exact same unit! The owner, Tim O'Conner, was very helpful when we were planning our trip and was attentive to any questions about the property once we were there. Mahalo, Tim, for our best trip to Maui."

  • ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

"I surprised my husband with a trip to Maui for his 50th birthday and wanted the "perfect" condo that was oceanfront. I definitely found it - #1017 in the Aston Mahana, owned by Joe Falletta. The photos online are gorgeous, but it is even BETTER in person. The view is outstanding and with the mirrors throughout, I felt like I was always looking outside at the beautiful ocean. You can see Lanai and Molokai from the condo and watch the sun set every night. The condo was not only beautifully furnished but had more than I expected for us to use like coolers, beach chairs, kitchen utensils and such. I HIGHLY recommend Joe Falletta and this location. Actually, I have already referred two friends to Joe and the Aston Mahana. Thank you for an amazing week's stay at your place Joe! We LOVED it!!"
