  • Beautiful unit clean and comfortable

"I visited Napili shores as a teenager and it was such a joy to come back here ! The unit was clean , comfortable and had a beautiful view from the Lani . The high vaulted ceilings made the unit feel big and airy .There was a constant breeze that keep us cool and comfortable . The grounds here are gorgeous ! Tons of lush foliage and tropical flowers . Just a short walk to the beach were we saw see turtles every day . Love the unit , love Napili shores and would absolutely come back again . Aloha"

  • Fourth time back and great as ever!

"This was our fourth time back to Carol's condo and we couldn't have been happier. Some very nice upgrades since our last visit such air conditioning in every room, including the loft and new full width sliding doors and window in the master. We have always thought this was one of the best condo locations in Papakea with great views of the ocean and pool/bbq area and quick access to the same plus parking right behind the unit. Grounds and pool area are impeccably kept and staff is always polite and helpful. We were staying here while the seawall was under repair but this work was a non issue for us. The actual drilling we did see and hear was never sustained for very long as they were often busy with other quieter work related to the project and making repairs to the drilling equipment. Can't recommend this condo enough, you will not be disappointed. Aloha!"

  • Perfect location!

"Karin's condo at the Whaler was the perfect place for me and the kids to take a break! First, I loved that we could self-park below the building and take the elevator directly to the 4th floor. The kitchen was completely stocked - we were able to successfully cook several meals in the condo, which saved us lots of money (and grief from picky eaters!). After exploring the kitchen, I took note of several other characteristics of the condo - REAL carpet - not hotel-grade indoor-outdoor carpet.... it was so comfortable to walk around the condo! The closet inside the front door contains several boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs, sand toys, and more! The living area was ample and comfortable. My son slept on the sofabed - it was quite loud and not terribly comfortable, but it was functional and clean. The next thing I discovered was the lanai - The ocean view was spectacular! I fully utilized the table, chairs, and chaise that are provided. The grounds of the Whaler are well-maintained and we enjoyed seeing lots of plumeria and palm trees. I decided to look for the bedroom - but before I found it, I discovered the laundry room - It has a dated washer and dryer but they work very well. Also in the laundry room I discovered a small library, several board games, and extra bedding. From the laundry room, I wandered to the bathroom which was clean - I was a little surprised to find that toiletries were limited - there was shampoo but no conditioner - and we had to purchase toilet paper - but I was able to pick up some at the store. The bedroom was private, cool, and had its own thermostat and ceiling fan. It was a comfortable room with a large king-size bed. The bed is very firm and loud, but functional (definitely not what I'd describe as "comfortable" or "plush.") The best part of the condo is its location - literally steps to the best part of Ka'anapali beach - and within walking distance of anything you could need or want. It's a few hundred feet to Black Rock, it's next door to Whaler's Village with shopping and dining options. The on-site pool is wonderful and there are ample chaises and cabanas to relax on. All of the Whaler staff that we encountered were helpful, pleasant, and welcoming. Will/Would I stay here again? Absolutely - Definitely."
