  • Second stay, but not the last

"This was the second time my wife and I stayed in this unit. The condo has a great view of the ocean and part of the golf course. The view alone is worth the price of the stay. The condo is very well equipped with all of the needed items to insure a great vacation. When staying in this unit, you are right in the middle of great dining, shopping, water activities and golf. This was our second vacation in this unit, but it will not be the last rental when we visit Maui again."

  • Great Time!

"Our family of 4 spent a week in Maui to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. The condo at Papakea was perfect for our stay. The condo has a great ocean view, and the grounds are beautiful. The pool and barbecues are a few steps away. We used the barbecues several nights, and found them to be extremely clean and well kept. The condo was well stocked, and we enjoyed breakfast every morning on the lanai watching the surf. The king size bed was fabulous - we were well rested each morning. The kitchen has everything you need to cook dinner. The condo is located within walking distance to several places to eat and a food market. On our afternoon walk one day, we discovered a little "Fish Market" a couple of blocks away from the condo that has the best fish tacos - we loved them so much we had to go back a few times. Another plus that we found about the condo was that it has its own washer and dryer, which came in handy. Eric and Leslie even provide 2 beach towels, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, and a sand chair and umbrella. Believe it or not, that umbrella was a life saver a few times. The beach in front of the condo is not really adequate for swimming, but just a few yards south there is beach access. One morning we walked along the beach from the resort all the way to black rock at the Sheraton - it was a wonderful stroll (about 2.5 miles). We really enjoyed our stay at Eric and Leslie's condo, and won't hesitate to stay there when we return. Also, Eric and Leslie were very helpful and insightful with any questions or concerns we had before we arrived. Thanks Eric and Leslie!"

  • Truly Spectacular Views!

"My husband and I spent one month at Lahaina Roads. We thought the location was great – a 5 minute walk to the Cannery Mall which included a Safeway store; a 20 minute walk south to the business area of Front Street (numerous restaurants and shops); a 40 minute walk north to Whalers Village. Every night the tiki torches were lit around the pool and by the bbq area. Parking was free and in a covered area. The biggest plus was being directly ocean front! Vida was great to deal with. She promptly responded to email and she straightaway handled the couple of issues we encountered. The unit was clean and perfect for our stay – The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, and dish soap and dishwasher soap were included; The bathroom was great – a large walk-in shower, a huge vanity top, and lots of towels; The bedroom had a comfortable king-size bed with a night table, a dresser, and lots of closet space. The bedroom does face Front St., so there is some noise – occasional traffic and roosters being the main culprits. There is an AC unit in the bedroom, but we preferred leaving the windows open and letting the trade winds blow through; The biggest plus was the lanai…directly ocean front. We spent countless hours on the lanai: every morning drinking our coffee and eating local fruit, during the day watching all the turtle-feeding action and the daily whale action (numerous blows, tail slaps, and breaches), and in the evening viewing the amazing sunset and eating our dinner. My only recommendation would be more comfortable lanai furniture since I am sure we are not the only ones who spend so much time mesmerised by the ocean-front action. There were so many positives for this unit that I have probably forgot some, but know it is truly a great vacation property and unit. …We highly recommend it if staying in the Lahaina area and hope to return one day. Thank you Vida!"

"Sent Co Ho development a specific letter regarding items of concern! Beautiful location in Pua Mana, right on the water with a big grassy area to lounge and watch the waves."
