  • Incredible once in a lifetime experience on the beach!

"This house deserves all its good reviews. This was our second visit to the Island of Kauai. We stayed in Princeville previously, but wanted something closer to the beach this time around for the little ones. We found the weather in this area was also less rainy and windy than Princeville. We travelled with friends and had two small children with us. Besides the convenience of having two Pack and Plays in the house for the kids to sleep in, this house's location is excellent for adults and kids alike! It is right on the beach and has a decent sized private back and front yard for everyone to lounge in when you're done with the beach. The view is amazing! We saw whales jumping in the distance almost every day! The sunrises are beautiful and in the evenings we sat on the beach and had wine looking at the full moon over the ocean. And at night you can hear the waves crashing as you sleep. I mean it CANNOT get better than this! There are so many Beach toys! B-boards, kayaks, rock booties, beach chairs, umbrellas. The house itself is in great condition! It is beautiful. The yard is massive. So many beaitiful trees. The area is safe to go for runs and walks. The master suite is huge! All the other rooms are great with on suite bathrooms. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and a Wolf oven! The barbeque was my husband's favorite. Nice lanai outside for barbeques and dinners outside in the evenings. You really needn't go out for dinners! The hair products and shower gel in the house is heavenly! Jude was amazing. She took care of us and answered any questions. She was truly so accommodating and we were thankful for meeting her! Kapaa town is so close to drive from the house. There are awesome food trucks and a general store nearby. Safeway is also close. We drove to Hanalai a few times during our stay- only about a 30 min drive. I could go on and on, but you get my drift! You've got to stay here!"

  • Spoiled for all the rest

"This was such a wonderful home, it has spoiled us! I don't think other homes will compare and with how amazing our stay was I'm not sure I will ever stay anywhere else. The house was stocked with everything a family would need for just relaxing by the pool, a night in or a day at the beach. (Supplied with beach chairs, coolers, sand toys the whole gamut). This would also be a great house to share with a couple couples. The set up works out so that every bedroom can have it's own bathroom. Our flight to Maui was delayed by 3 hours so our plan on arriving and stopping for food at Costco was not going to happen. We called Gentrie (Maya was on vacation for a few days)and asked if any pizza places delivered, she called around and supplied us with information on a place that delivered to the house. It was nice to have someone to turn to. :) Since we arrived much later than we had planned it was completely dark by the time we made it to the house; however, the porch lights and entry lights were left on for us. We couldn't see any farther than the pool in the back or the driveway in the front so when we went to bed we had no idea we would be waking up to an incredible view of the cerulean ocean and the breath taking mountains. Usually a view consists of one or the other; however, here we were blessed with both. I can't say enough great things about this home and I can't wait to come back again soon :) Aloha"

  • Best Vacation spot on Maui

"This was our second time to this location. Again just as beautiful as the first time. This time we were able to see some whales from the house to the ocean. Everything is flawlessly coordinated and explained. One small issue came up and the response was more than I was looking for. I was just giving a heads up about an AC unit so maybe could be looked at the next day, before I knew it owner was there looking for an answer and found it. I will likely never stay elsewhere. Absolutely in love with the entire property. T.C"

  • Great view but a bit dated

"Stayed for 4 days in March. The view is truly fantastic. We spent most of our evenings outdoors. The exteriors do need repairs. The Jacuzzi is non functional. The pool cleaning device was left in the pool the entire time we were there. There are no pool toys etc.No out door music . Bathrooms are updated. Rest of the house is very dated especially the bedrooms. Air conditioning is extra(though they did waive it for us I think). The house has almost no supplies (1 kitchen roll!). The garage and basement is locked and off limits. Compared to other house we stayed at in Honolulu, this house was less well stocked and had much more rules.Thermostat is under lock and key! Close to the town of Lahaina, which we loved.Plenty of restaurants. Great access with car or Uber."
