  • The Best Place on Maui

"We couldn't be any closer to the ocean. The sound of the waves was so relaxing. Coffee in the mornings on the patio watching the whales, and yes you could see them. Sea turtles too in the cove a few yards away. A nice path with tide pools to a beautiful beach. Gazebo, an open air restaurant there for breakfast or lunch. Napili Point has several gas grills to use and they are cleaned daily. The view from our patio was just awesome. Friendly neighbors too who gathered for the gorgeous sunsets. Really we didn't eat out much, the place us too beautiful, you would be hard pressed to find a restaurant in Maui with better views! The owner John is very easy to work with, everything went smoothly. I hope to come back someday. Mahalo. Nancy"

  • Great Value and Comfortable Stay

"We would definitely stay here again. The host was very helpful and answered all of our questions promptly. The condo has a full kitchen with all the appliances we needed during our stay. There is a nice, clean pool and BBQ area to the side as well. The neighbours in the complex were all friendly and quiet and most of them were year round residents happy to answer questions. The location is great, walking distance to a grocery store, great coffee shop and a few restaurants as well as Napili Bay - a great beach and snorkel spot. You could easily stay here without needing a car. Overall we had a great time and would love to return."

  • Location, location, location - few steps from the rocky surf

"Right outside the patio door is a grass lanai to lounge on, with the ocean just beyond. Waves and sounds of the sea put you to sleep at night. The property is on the far left (south) of Napili Bay, just above the rocky tide pool area. The Gazebo restaurant is just feet to the south, the public access lane feet to the north. The ocean is the focus, we did nothing at Napili Shores itself, although it was available and inviting. The "winter" weather was occasionally windy and wet, so we snorkeled mostly on the right smooth side of the bay, also south Maui and Lanai on a boat trip. We used the beach chairs and boogie board provided. The Kapalua Coastal trail was glorious and we ended up with lunch at the Beach "Shack" at the Ritz Carlton right on the water. Great food at the Sea House on Napili Bay, also Merriman's (very close) and Mama's Fish House across the island. The accommodations were great for two in the Queen wall-bed, but would be tight for four (also using 2 loveseat sofa beds). The kitchen and bathroom sinks are both beautiful, but not very practical. The refrigerator, dishwasher and washer/dryer were definitely a plus and let us cook a little and deal with all those wet clothes. A very enjoyable week was spent in this beautiful location."
