  • Eight amazing days on Maui

"We shared this fantastic 2 BR condo with another couple from Feb 1 to Feb 8, 2016. When we walked in the front door our collective jaws dropped to the floor in amazement - full kitchen, wet bar, wine fridge, 2 lanai's directly facing the ocean with a picturesque view of Molokai - where we had breakfast almost every morning! The kitchen was well appointed and the property was clean and well maintained. And more importantly, the 2 bedrooms are totally separated, making this condo perfect when traveling with another couple or perhaps with children. There is plenty of shopping close by and its only a 5 minute drive to The Gazebo. We would recommend this location to anyone planning a vacation on Maui."

  • Thanks and Aloha

"First off, this is a very romantic locale and lovely resort. There was tons to do in the surrounding area - I think they call it Whaler or something. The close beach was jaw dropping - beautiful, gentle waves, soft sand, sunshine every day. Drug my husband through the nearby outlet shopping mall and he forced to play a round of golf on the nearby course. We're kind of tit for tat like that. Anyway, we loved our stay here, would come back again, and def recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet Maui vacation."

  • Perfect location!

"Karin's condo at the Whaler was the perfect place for me and the kids to take a break! First, I loved that we could self-park below the building and take the elevator directly to the 4th floor. The kitchen was completely stocked - we were able to successfully cook several meals in the condo, which saved us lots of money (and grief from picky eaters!). After exploring the kitchen, I took note of several other characteristics of the condo - REAL carpet - not hotel-grade indoor-outdoor carpet.... it was so comfortable to walk around the condo! The closet inside the front door contains several boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs, sand toys, and more! The living area was ample and comfortable. My son slept on the sofabed - it was quite loud and not terribly comfortable, but it was functional and clean. The next thing I discovered was the lanai - The ocean view was spectacular! I fully utilized the table, chairs, and chaise that are provided. The grounds of the Whaler are well-maintained and we enjoyed seeing lots of plumeria and palm trees. I decided to look for the bedroom - but before I found it, I discovered the laundry room - It has a dated washer and dryer but they work very well. Also in the laundry room I discovered a small library, several board games, and extra bedding. From the laundry room, I wandered to the bathroom which was clean - I was a little surprised to find that toiletries were limited - there was shampoo but no conditioner - and we had to purchase toilet paper - but I was able to pick up some at the store. The bedroom was private, cool, and had its own thermostat and ceiling fan. It was a comfortable room with a large king-size bed. The bed is very firm and loud, but functional (definitely not what I'd describe as "comfortable" or "plush.") The best part of the condo is its location - literally steps to the best part of Ka'anapali beach - and within walking distance of anything you could need or want. It's a few hundred feet to Black Rock, it's next door to Whaler's Village with shopping and dining options. The on-site pool is wonderful and there are ample chaises and cabanas to relax on. All of the Whaler staff that we encountered were helpful, pleasant, and welcoming. Will/Would I stay here again? Absolutely - Definitely."

  • Great Location - Look forward to returning next year

"My wife and I stayed here in early June and had a fantastic time. The Whaler is beautiful with a great location on Kaanapali Beach. Got a really good deal for the area and the unit was clean and the bed was really comfortable. We are already in the planning stages to coming back to Maui next year and plan on booking here again."
