  • Fantastic Trip

"My wife and I and our 12 year old twin boys spend a little under a week at this wonderful property in late June. Dave met us promptly at the villa and was very helpful explaining everything and he made it very clear that he was on call for us (didn't realize this upfront) 24/7 while we were there. Fortunately, aside from a simple cable related question, we were able to leave him alone. We love Kapalua and to be able to stay so close to the water and have such amazing views was quite a treat. An added benefit that we took full advantage of for meals and the spa was having the Montage hotel about a 4 minute walk from the villa. This was when we didn't make our own food in the fully stocked kitchen that had everything we needed. I would suggest, however, that some new frying pans would be a good idea as the 3-non stick pans were pretty scratched up--certainly not the end of the world though. Also, the beach in front of the Ritz hotel which is 5 minutes north is great for boogie boarding and body surfing in the waves as there is a life guard. The surf can be a bit treacherous at times but the life guards were always happy to explain in detail the current conditions and whether or not it was safe for children. All in all, we had a great time and it is not a matter of if but when we return again!"

  • Perfect little getaway

"This condo has all the necessities with some nice upgrades like new carpet and a handy single Murphy bed. Beautiful landscaped lawn just out the door and moments to the pool and beach. Perfect with our little guy who could stretch his legs whenever needed. Lots of goodies for beach use, games for the evening and close to the core of Kihei while in a quiet neighbourhood. We don't need a fancy place - but a place that is comfortable and accommodating - and this was the ticket. Thanks Marc for answering all of our questions quickly too."

  • A beautiful place!

"My family has been to Maui many times in the past and Wailea is where we stayed most times, and we stayed at this condo complex before, but this time we loved it even more because of this apartment. Beautifully furnished, clean, with everything that's needed, it felt like home away from home, immediately. The location is perfect! Top floor, with magnificent sunset views, close to the pool and entrace, walking distance to the Wailea Mall, restaurants, etc. Our favorite restaurants that are walking distance are Matteo's oysteria, Fabianni, Manoli's, plus the ones in the mall and the short drive to others in South Kihei. We definitely decided that we would love to book this condo again if available when back in Maui. Aloha"

  • Highly Recommend!

"This is our second time staying at the Sprecks Plantation House and we will definitely be back. We have stayed in both the Plumeria and Mango units. The units are beautifully decorated and have everything you need including very comfortable beds. The kitchens are well appointed and provide all the pots/pans and utensils you need to cook in (including a gas BBQ). The whole complex is meticulously cared for..inside and out. We had the misfortune of getting a flat tire while we were here. Glen, the owner, happened to be on the property and just jumped in and changed our tire without being asked. What a great guy! A few bonuses: laundry; miscellaneous beach items for your use (umbrellas; chairs; toys; snorkelling gear); bicycles (it is a very short ride to Baby Beach through the neighbourhood or Kanaha Beach along a bike path) Some people worry about airplane noise when considering Specklesville. We are light sleepers and sleep with the doors and windows open. Yes, you hear the airplanes...but we did not find them that disruptive. The minor inconvenience of hearing the occasional airplane is far outweighed by the rest of the experience. (Note - you can cut down on the noise if you open only the south facing doors and windows)"
