  • Amazing place

"Great condo right on the Beach. No one around which was awesome. Everything you need for a week or weekend is right in the condo. Super quite and relaxing area. Small convient store on site for basic needs but be aware you are in the middle of nowhere so be prepared as far as groceries. Small free bus can take you in to town if need be. Would recommend giving that a try to first day or two so you are prepared should you need to take it. All and all condo and experience is fantastic."

  • Family Reunion Weekend

"Aloha, Tim, the owner of Ke Nani Kai #118 was a pleasure to work with. The condo was spacious for the 3 of us. Both bathrooms are walk-in shower & beautiful, if I may add. Even though there is no AC in the unit, we opened the sliding doors and front door and the cross breeze cooled the unit. The kitchen is well equipped. We went grocery shopping before heading to the west side. We picked Ke Nani Kai because it was close to our family reunion venue and happy we did. Sunday was our R & R day, so we decided to go to the pool...Wow! Wished we discovered it sooner. Our family took up (3) units and some mainlander reported to the office that we had too many of us there. We mind our own business, we don't make trouble, but we get labeled because we're LOCALS! Mind you we paid to be there! That was the only downside. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend it. Mahalo again to Tim for sharing your home. We truly appreciate your hospitality. Ke aloha nui, Kalei"

  • Relaxing, Private stay! WE WILL STAY AGAIN!!

"We loved staying at the Cottage at Kepuhi Beach! They were wonderful hosts to work with as well when we had some flight changes! Took the few moments of stress and panic out of our minds. As others have said, there is an area of abandoned units from the old Sheraton Resort. Other than the boarded up look, the property itself is kept up nicely. Do not let this hinder your decision! To be honest, it was nice to have basically a private, ocean front resort, including nicely maintained pool to ourselves. (Actually there we a few other people). The little store is owned by Renalto (sp?) and his mother and a great source of items rather than running to town. Very informative and a pleasure to visit with. Cottage. Totally modern and updated! Kitchen well equipped, crockpot, toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker, pots, pans, glass baking dishes, cookie sheeets, plenty of spatulas, knives, etc... New appliances, full size fridge with topside freezer, full size glasstop stove and oven, microwave. Everything you really could need is there with the exception (I think we were probably blind) of a coffee grinder. There was no worry as we just ground when we were in town at the store. Bathroom sinks separate from shower and stool (good!), washer and dryer. Lanai area has nice table, chairs and a lounge chair. Beach chairs and towels also in unit. Binoculars were a pleasant addition and tons of lovely books that we spent much time reading and paging through. Our local friends stopped by for 5 minutes and were amazed! They took the info for future visitors to book with. Best spot and unit on the Island in their opinion. Beaches - in both directions! We visited all we could while there. The farthest to the south, Dixie, had a monk seal on the south end. Looked like rock at first but we had a blast watching as the tide came in and he had to "readjust" his position by spinning and doing the worm dance. You have to see it to understand. We just sat about 100 yards across the beach with binoculars and chairs to watch. All beaches we visited had good showers with plenty of water pressure. Town. Really not so far away for us country folk. 30 minutes maybe? The bread bakery was fun to visit and we had good service at the grocery stores, Burger and Pizza Joints. People. AMAZING! Everyone was so nice and kind. We NEVER had any stink-eye, rudeness that some have referred to. In fact, we were randomly gifted with a lovely flower."
