  • Lovely!

"Excellent communication! This is a ground floor unit, walk out into the plush grass by the shore ... beautiful views from the lanai ... steps to the warm pool which felt great at the end of a day of exploring. Very convenient to Kaunakakai; while a drive to the west end beaches, I suspect much cooler in general this time of year. No a/c but good fans and cross breeze. Kitchen well equipped and grills looked nice although we didn't use them. Just a reminder to people travelling to Moloka'i: you are going to a remote, laid back island so plan accordingly. You can't sponteously drop down to Kalaupapa or always count on the availablility of a rental car. Make certain you arrange those things ahead of time and you will have a wonderful trip. Truly the"Friendly Isle" with a rustic feel. Looking forward to escaping here again...Thanks Dixie!!"

  • Beautiful location...Amazing views!

"Location, location, location! The views are incredible from the condo! Right in front of the resort is a bay - great for snorkeling to see turtles, beautiful fish and even octopus! The tidal pools are such fun to explore! There is an awesome beach for quiet relaxation listening to the waves, SUP, boogie boarding or snorkeling. I will admit I was a little nervous after reading all the recent negative reviews this unit. I'm not sure what the reviewers were expecting, but if you want a pristine room and white glove service go down the road to the "fancy hotel' It is nice (been there) but not oceanfront. There are no blinds but why would you want to block that gorgeous ocean view? It was hot and stuffy in the unit when we first arrived, but we opened the windows and lanai door and immediately the trade winds begin to cool it down with a brisk and lovely breeze. This unit has breathtaking views sun up to sun down. The floor to ceiling windows and screened glass door opens up to a generous lanai facing the ocean and the neighboring islands. We watched 5-11 surfers every day and saw whales and turtles from the lanai! The kitchen was adequately stocked with cooking utensils. The L shaped sectional living room furniture was perfect to curl up in and admire the view. Wifi was available. We were there 8 days, 7 nights and never once turned on any tvs. The sound of the waves crashing below us was enough! The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Bathrooms were adequate. Downstairs bathroom shower did not have hot water but we did not ask for maintenance as we didn't want to be bothered by repairs. There was hot water for a bath but when you pulled the lever for a shower, the diverter valve must have been broke. I have let the owner know. There were beach towels and ample bathroom towels. 3 beach chairs and an umbrella were stored in the closet. The washer and dryer in the unit was nice to have. This was a girls trip of adventure and relaxation. It is our favorite place to stay.this wonderful unit provided what we needed and wanted; views, comforts and location in our preferred area at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again!"

  • Family friendly

"Van was great at communicating back and forth. Booking was super easy. Loved the resort. Food was great we ordered dinner to trying breakfeast buffet. Breakfeast buffet fills you up whole day felt like. The activity center helps with kids when you are tired and dont want to be on beach or by pool. All staff was friendly from valet to front desk and everything else within property. Loved view and seeing tiki lighting at night and music being played while lounging in pool area. Definitely worth money ."

  • First time, but definitely not our last

"We stayed in I109 and loved it. The condo is clean, in excellent condition and exceptionally well maintained. There are 2 swimming pools and the grounds are immaculate, with gardeners always working to maintain their beauty. Staying here was like being at home and did not have the feel of being in a hotel. With a well stocked kitchen we were able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast every morning. For lunch and dinner at times we ate in and at others times we ate out. Front St. is a leisurely 10 minute walk with lots of restaurants. The convenience of a washer and dryer in the condo was an added extra. The condo comes with beach chairs, umbrellas and a small cooler you can take to the beach. Needless to say we made great use of these items. A car is recommended if you want to explore Maui. Easy pick-up and return at the airport. If you can find parking on the street it is free. It is $20 per night to park on the condo grounds, a little less expensive to park in the lot across the street. Because of our circumstances, we opted to pay the $20 and park on the grounds. Even with no car, Front St. and many, many restaurants and shops are a short walk away. As recommended, by everyone we talked with, a stop at Costco and Walmart for provisions when you leave the airport is a must. Take your own bag into Walmart or you will be charged for a Walmart bag, as they do not provide free bags. Would we stay again? In a heartbeat! Looking forward to our next trip to Maui. Thank you very much, Rick and Lance. Or should we say: Mahalo nui loa, Rick and Lance"
