Best place to stay on the North Shore!
"My wife and I stayed at Sunset Hale for the final four nights of our three-week Hawaiian honeymoon. The stress of driving through Honolulu traffic starts to melt away as you make your way to Sunset Beach. The home is well appointed and has everything one could need. Although the hale is on-property with the Kennedys' homes, you have complete privacy, with the added benefit that Alia is close by should you have any needs during your stay. It's well located to explore the North Shore- whether you want to shop or dine in Haleiwa, hit the shrimp trucks in Kahuku, or catch some waves. We also visited the Waimea Valley, which is a short drive away. Would love to come back again on our next trip to Oahu, thanks to Alia and the entire Kennedy ohana for having us as their guests!"

"This condo has everything you need for a lovely stay in Hawaii! The condo is very clean, nicely decorated, and has a great ocean view. I highly recommend staying at the Makaha Valley Towers at this condo!"

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We are family of 4 and knew would be a little tight but this place worked out great for us. Only suggestion would be to get a proper blender for mixing drinks. Having only 1 weak garbage bag for a week didn't help either. Otherwise had everything you could need for a week long vacation. Very clean, and we requested 1 extra night at last minute and they responded within 30mins and allowed us a late check out at no cost. Would have no problem recommending this place to anyone."

"Walking into the condo you can't help but first notice the amazing ocean view. I was looking for something away from the touristy areas, and that is just what we found. My husband and I enjoyed our days at the beaches full of locals, the hikes and walks around the end of the island and in the hills near the condo. Of course, you are not far from tourist attractions when you want to head into Honolulu or Laie or somewhere else for the day.
I'm a person who prefers to cook most of my meals when on vacation, and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. There's also leftover items like olive oil, spices, etc. for your use. We added to the collection with items we needed that weren't already there. (I love a kitchen like this when on holiday, so you don't have to buy every little thing you may need.)
The owner have 2 beach chairs and a boogie board you can use. You do need to provide your own beach towels (I couldn't convince my husband to donate those we purchased to the condo, sorry.)
The owners have a binder of very helpful information for things to do, where to shop, where to eat. There's a smart TV so you can use your own Netflix account or watch cable or a movie on the DVD player on a rainy afternoon. The internet never had an issue, which is such a welcome change from other places I've stayed.
Definitely a recommended location to stay."
