  • Extremely comfortable!!

"Thank you Andrea for having a wonderful home away from home! This place was perfect for a couple or with one child. Very clean and quiet. It was great to have a full size fridge, small kitchenette with everything you need, and a full size washer and dryer. The air conditioner kept the little place very cool. Having a small private yard was awesome as well. The place is provide with beach chairs and boogie boards which was used on a daily basis! Only having a quick two minute walk to the beach was the best part and Kailua Beach is one of my favorites on the island! It was the prefect place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. We would definitely come back to stay!!! Hopefully sooner than later! Thanks again."

  • Very nice place with absolutely no parking

"Great apartment, it fit all of our needs except parking. Good size, amenities were great. However there is no parking in or around the property. At all. There are a few metered spots that you might be lucky to get, or pay lots scattered around."

  • Exceptional location, property and owners

"Our family of 5 spent the entire month of July 2016 in Lanikai and had my 2 sister-in-laws there with us for 2 weeks. The owners Reenie and Barney literally became like family to us. The property was very clean and comfortable and just as described. Actually the photos don't do it justice. The location is outstanding. My husband and I had lived in Hawaii in Lanikai 20+ years ago so we knew that this was the area we wanted to stay in on the island. This area of the windward side is great. The beaches are family-oriented and the neighborhood is quiet. There are plenty of great places to eat and shop right in Kailua. The swimming and snorkeling at Lanikai is the best. The owners have everything you need to enjoy your trip. There are beach chairs, floats, boogie and surf boards, and more. There are all kinds of kitchen supplies, washer/dryer, private parking so you never worry about finding a spot on the street and you are just steps from the beach. The covered porch is where we spent a lot of our time in the mornings and evenings. There are many listings in Lanikai that talk about great views and just steps from the beach. Trust me from someone who has lived here and visited here recently, this is the best location. Even though other listings may show great views and photos if you walk to the beach from those properties you will have to climb back up a steep hill or climb stairs. We never even put on our shoes to go to the beach since all we had to do was cross the street and we were on the beach access path with sand. Also there are listing that are not close to the sandy part of Lanikai's beach, this property is right in the middle of the sandy part of Lanikai's beach. We are already talking about when can we get back to Lanikai and this is the place we want to stay."

  • Perfect stay

"The king sized bed in the upper back studio is one of the most comfortable I've experienced. Each night, I could hear the ocean as I drifted off to sleep. This place has a 70s beach house vibe because that's exactly what it is but it's in great condition and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Host Mary is friendly and extremely efficient and all my dealings with her before, during and after my stay were a breeze. Lanikai is a divine destination-the antithesis of noisy and crowded Waikiki. It was a great choice and I hope to return one day."
