  • February 2017 Stay

"Enjoyed the stay. Location was terrific and the unit was clean and met our needs. Only a couple of issues: 1) hot water for morning showers was variable and some mornings the maximum temperature was cool to cold; 2) someone parked in our allocated bay for about 24 - 36 hours. We reported it to valet parking, but there was little they could do. Luckily there was plenty of vacant bays would could use. Cheers."

  • Excellent home close to everything!

"Open and spacious with excellent views and only about 3 ft from the water. This was the first VRBO for our family and it's convinced us that this is something we'll do again. I read all of the reviews so I was a little leery. The dog next door does bark a little when you walk up but friendly as can be and chained up. Neighbors smiled and were very nice, no issue with the little bridge, home was clean, no bugs, no issues at all. The kayak was a bonus! About 30 minutes drive to everything Oahu has to offer without traffic. In 30 minutes or less; Pearl Harbor, North shore Polynesian Center, Lighthouse trail (don't miss!), Sandy Beach, Lanikai Beach, Wiki Beach, Walmalano Beach, Diamond head trail, Waimano falls, restaurants (sushi was excellent) and shopping. Deposit returned timely. I'd definitely stay there again if we head to Oahu!"

  • Perfect!

"Our stay was nothing short of amazing. Ami greeted us at the boat with the warmest welcome. She showed us how to work everything not leaving out a detail which really helped us maneuver throughout our stay. I would liken this to a premium "glamping" type experience. The indoor stove/oven works much like a camp stove very easy to get started with the use of the lighter provided. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans and even some spices were provided. We made coffee every morning with the French press and even got a slight workout from hand grinding the beans - again all provided by Tim and Ami. Sleeping quarters were quite comfortable and all the linens and towels smelt so fresh and clean. Honestly, everything was immaculate. Surf at Kewalo's was a short stroll away as was sunbathing and light swimming at Ala Moana beach park. Ala Moana shopping center was very close too. Lots of eating options there and also a Foodland there to pick up poke for snack and papaya for breakfast. Maybe about a mile away. We walked over a couple times to grab a bite though preferred driving over to get groceries. Shower and bathroom also clean and comfortable- small but not unusual for small kine living. There is shampoo and body wash also provided. There is a radio w CD player that plays throughout the cabin and filtered water so we could refill our water bottles everyday. We rented a car for the week and Tim and Ami provided us with a parking pass for the week. So there is never any issues with finding parking. If I had to think of any challenges during our stay - outdoor grill didn't have any propane but Foodland sells some which saved our evening grilling plans. also, this may not be the spot for you if you are prone to motion sickness. I had a rough first day, but thank heavens for Foodland - headed over and picked up some Dramamine and was good. Only took a day or two to get my "sea legs". I would not hesitate to recommend this as a superb accommodation when staying on the south shore of Oahu and will definitely be back. Thank you Tim and Ami for an amazing stay. What are you waiting for - Book now! :)"

  • Just great!

"Great, quite and safe property. Enjoyed every minute. The owner of the property is very hospitable. Highly recommend it. This location is 30-45 minutes away from Honolulu / Waikiki and away from the city. The property is very close Ko-Olina, a great place to view the sunset. You also have few stores and restaurants close by."
